RICHMOND, Va.—The Coastal Athletic Association announced on Monday afternoon that William and Mary's Lindsay Wilson won CAA women's soccer Rookie of the Week honors.
 
Wilson was a force to be reckoned with in the Tribe's 4-0 win against George Mason on Thursday night. The Scituate, Mass. native scored her first two career goals against the Patriots just six minutes apart, putting the Tribe up 2-0.
 
The second half saw Wilson pick up her first career assist when she aided Maya Haghighi to her first career goal in the 74^th minute. Wilson's five points in just the one game puts her second on the team in scoring for the year. 
 
W&M finished their non-conference schedule Sunday evening with a 1-1 draw against Old Dominion. The Tribe finished the non-conference slate with a 3-0-3 record, being unbeaten in non-league play for the first time in program history.
 
The Green and Gold kick off CAA play at Drexel on Thursday at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on FloFC.
