Hedda Gurholt was named to the first team in singles, while senior
Elisa Van Meeteren and the doubles pair of sophomore
Ine Stange and graduate student
Sofiya Kuzina garnered spots on the second team.
Gurholt moved up to the first team after receiving second team all-state honors in 2022. She was named the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year this season after dominating at the top singles position. She capped the season at 21-7 in singles action, including a 15-4 dual-match mark at No. 1. Gurholt was also named the Most Outstanding Player of the CAA Championship after leading the Tribe to its 28th conference title. She finished the season ranked No. 15 in the ITA Atlantic Region in singles.
Van Meeteren garnered all-state second team honors in singles for the first time in her career. She was a second team choice in doubles last season. Van Meeteren held down the No. 2 spot in the singles lineup and finished the year at 15-11. She earned All-CAA First Team distinction in singles as well..
Kuzina and Stange earned a spot on the all-state second team in doubles after compiling a 10-4 mark. The pair picked up a four wins at the No. 1 spot. They knocked off the No. 5-ranked team in the region of Maryland's Mary Brumfield and Selma Cadar in dual-match play when the Terps duo was No. 19 nationally. Kuzina and Stange were ranked nationally for the majority of the spring season and earned All-CAA First Team honors. The combo finished the year ranked No. 10 in the ITA Atlantic Region.
