DURHAM, N.C. – Battling competition and the elements on a rainy Friday, the William & Mary men's track & field team still posted several strong performances at Day 2 of the Duke Invitational.
Jacob Jones led the charge for the Tribe in the 1500m, placing 12
th in a field of 75 runners with a time of 3:51.74.
Sam Pritchard was 27
th (3:54.52),
Evan Goodell was 29
th (3:54.59), and
Andrew Lagattuta was 37
th (3:55.14).
Stephen Larson rounded out the Green and Gold contingent.
Meanwhile, in the decathlon,
Daniel Layton sits second after the opening slate of events with 2,883 points. The senior posted a PR in the 100m of the event with a time of 11.44.
