PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Another day, another strong Tribe performance at the Penn Relays.
In a field of 25-plus, the duo of
Zoe Metzger and
Kristen Herr both placed among the top 15 in the javelin college event on Friday. Metzger took 11
th place at 37.09m (121-8), while Herr was 15
th at 35.60m (116-9). The pair finished ahead of athletes from programs including Penn State, UConn, and Maryland.
And they weren't the only Tribe athletes notching impressive performances at Day 2 of the stacked meet.
Against a field of over two dozen,
Keeley Suzenski placed top-15 in the shot put college event at 13.22m (43-4.5). But that wasn't all for the W&M standout. Later in the day, she placed 12
th in the discus throw college event at 40.94m (134-4).
William & Mary will wrap up competition in Philly on Saturday afternoon as
Liv Cantby is slated to throw in the javelin championship event, with competition scheduled to get underway at 1:30 p.m. Live results from the Relays can be found
