RALEIGH, N.C. – It was all about keeping up with the Jones' for the William & Mary men's track & field team on Thursday afternoon. Or one Jones, specifically, as
Jacob Jones led a quintet of Tribe athletes in the 1,500m at the Raleigh Relays.
Running at N.C. State's Paul Derr T&F Facility, Jones crossed the finish line in 3:48.37 to capture 58
th place among a field of nearly 200. With more than a dozen programs represented in the event, the Weyers Cave, Va. native finished ahead of athletes from the likes of Notre Dame, Michigan, and Duke.
Andrew Lagattuta posted a time of 3:52.20 to finish in 114
th, while
Stephen Larson (3:55.312) and
Sam Pritchard (3:55.313) finished almost simultaneously at 148 and 149.
Evan Goodell rounded out the Green and Gold contingent with a time of 3:55.52.

W&M will host its first home meet of the season on Saturday, the Dan Stimson Memorial. Field events are slated to get underway at 10:30 a.m., while running events will begin at 1 p.m. Live results can be found throughout the day
