WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – After posting tremendous seasons, three William & Mary women's gymnasts earned all-league honors by the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC).
Sophomore
Sarah Wozniak earned second-team honors on bars, while senior
Keaghan Schafer and freshman
Michelle Ngo both garnered second-team distinction on floor.
Gymnasts who finished the regular season ranked among the league's top six earned first-team accolades, while those ranked No. 7-12 were named to the second team, including all ties.
W&M will vie for the GEC Championship when it hosts the meet at Kaplan Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Tribe will compete in the first session (noon) with Bridgeport, Cornell and Southern Connecticut State. The second session, which will get underway at 6 p.m., will feature Brown, Penn, West Chester and Yale.
