TOWSON, Md. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team posted its second-best score of the season and earned its top marks of the 2023 campaign in multiple events en route to placing third at a quad meet hosted by Towson on Sunday afternoon.
The host Tigers claimed the team title with a 196.775 and were followed by George Washington (196.400), W&M (192.225) and Fisk (189.925).
In addition to nearly posting its best overall score of the season, W&M recorded a season-high 48.425 on vault and equaled its season best on bars (48.275).
Individually, a trio of Tribe gymnasts posted top-10 finishes, as
Sarah Kuper (9.775) and
Sarah Wozniak (9.750) tied for eighth and 10th, respectively, on bars and
Michelle Ngo tied for 10th on floor with a 9.800.
