UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The William & Mary men's indoor track and field team competed in the second day of the Penn State National at the Ashenfelter III Indoor Track on Saturday.

A week after breaking the W&M indoor freshman record in the event,
Austin Rice followed up with another strong performance, placing fourth in 49.16. The time is tied for eighth in Tribe history.
1000m
Jonathan Kumer and
Stephen Larson notched solid finishes, placing third and fifth in the event. Kumer wasn't far from topping the freshman record in the event, crossing the finish line with a PR of 2:26.25. Meanwhile, Larson finished just steps behind with a time of 2:26.40.
Distance Medley
The team of
T.J. Corliss,
Austin Rice,
Sam Pritchard, and
Luke Ellwood finished seventh with a time of 9:56.48.
