WASHINGTON, D.C. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team opened its season with a fourth-place finish at the Lindsey Ferris Invitational hosted by George Washington on Sunday afternoon.
Nebraska claimed the team title with a 196.150 and was followed by George Washington (195.300), Cornell (189.900) and W&M (188.575).
Senior
Keaghan Schafer led the Tribe with an eighth-place finish on floor, as she posted a career-high 9.800 in the event.
Sophomore
Sarah Wozniak also recorded a top-10 finish on bars (9.700), while junior
Sofia Huang was W&M's top performer on vault and earned a career-high 9.700.
