Swim Set for Spring Slate

WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- After nearly two months away from competition, the William & Mary men's and women's swim teams will be back in the water this weekend to begin the second half of the 2022-23 season. The Tribe's men side will dive in against Old Dominion, while the women will compete in a double dual featuring the Monarchs and host East Carolina.

The William & Mary women will enter Saturday's meets with a 2-4 record in six fall duals, while the men will be looking for their first win in the 2022-23 campaign. ODU will also be looking to enter the win column for the first time this season, as both the men's and women's Monarchs teams are 0-1 on the year. ECU's women recorded four wins and three losses in the fall season.

The Tribe's men have enjoyed success against ODU recently, winning six of the last seven contests with the Monarchs, including a 166.5-93.5 victory last January in Williamsburg. William & Mary's women defeated ECU last season 185-73, and handled ODU 179-80 a year ago. The Tribe women have never lost to Old Dominion, sporting an 18-0 all-time record against the Monarchs.

Noah Fields, Will Glass, Micah Lowe, and Alex Valliere all recorded individual wins for William & Mary in the fall, with Fields notching four wins in the 2022 portion of the season.

During the fall session, the women saw seven athletes earn at least one individual win in a dual meet. Freshman Sophia Heilen leads the way with 10 first-place finishes, while senior Annie Tuttle has touched first nine times. Katie Stevenson and Elizabeth Intihar have each provided six first place times this fall.

Live updates throughout the weekend will be available via the Meet Mobile App.
