RICHMOND, Va. – William & Mary freshman Catherine Garrison was named the Colonial Athletic Association Runner of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
 
In her second career race, Garrison won the CNU Regional Preview crown. She ran the 6K course in 21:48.0, nearly seconds ahead of her teammate Arianna DeBoer. Garrison highlighted a dominant Tribe performance as W&M harriers claimed the top four positions and the Green and Gold totaled 16 points in winning the 17-team event.
 
 The Tribe returns to action at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa., on Friday, Sept. 30.
