WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary women's golf travels to the Edisto Island Invitational for the second-straight season this weekend. The three-day event is set for Oct. 9-11 at the Plantation Course at Edisto Island.
The Tournament
The Planation Course will play par-71 and 5,980 yards during the week. Each day will consists of 18 holes with tee times beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m. on Sunday and 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Joining the Tribe and host Charleston will be Georgia Southern, Elon, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, Wofford, Charleston Southern, USC Upstate, Boston University, Longwood, Rollins, Morehead State and UAB in the 14-team field.

- Graduate student
Sarah Houle has led the Tribe at each of the first three events of the fall and posted top-5 performances in all three events. She was fifth at the William & Mary Fall Invitational, before earning runner-up honors at the Elon Invitational. Last week, Houle carded a final round 1-over 73 to earn a share of fourth at the Navy Fall Invitational. She owns six career top-5 finishes and 10 career top-10s. Both those numbers rank seventh in school history.
- The Tribe finished as the runner-up at the Elon Invitational on Sept. 20. W&M fired the second-best 54-hole scoring mark in school history, behind an 875 (+23). The Green and Gold posted the third-best 36-hole total (585 +17) and sixth-best single-round total (290 +6) at the event.
- Freshman
Grace Lu posted the best 54-hole total for a Tribe rookie in program history on the way to a top-5 performance at the Elon Invitational, Sept. 19-20. She carded a 2-over 215, which also ranked as the 14th-best 54-hole score in school history. Her 36-hole score was the best for a freshman in school history at 1-under 141.
