RALEIGH, N.C. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team earned season-high scores in three events but placed fourth at a quad meet hosted by NC State on Saturday afternoon.
New Hampshire claimed the team title with a 195.400 and was followed by NC State (195.250), George Washington (194.675) and W&M (190.650).
Freshman
Caroline Blatchford highlighted the Tribe's individual performances by placing second in all-around with a career-high 38.750.
Event Highlights
Vault, 47.975 – Blatchford led W&M on vault with a career-high 9.700, while freshman
Catherine Bare recorded a 9.675 to help the Tribe post its best score of the season in the event.
Bars, 46.600 – Blatchford and freshman
Sarah Wozniak tied for the team's top mark on bars with a 9.650.
Beam, 47.725 – W&M registered its best score of the season on beam, as Blatchford and junior
Keaghan Schafer led the squad with a pair of 9.625's.
Floor, 48.350 – The Tribe also tallied a season-high total on floor, as Blatchford, Schafer and senior
Chloe Campbell all earned a 9.775. The score marked career highs for all three gymnasts.
All-Around – In addition to Blatchford's second-place effort in all-around (38.750), freshman
Sarah Kuper also competed in all four events and totaled a 36.725.
