Mila Saric Earns National Top-100 Ranking

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary senior Mila Saric earned a national top-100 ranking in the ITA Division I Women's Preseason Singles Rankings release on Tuesday. Saric earned her first career national ranking, coming in at No. 97 in the country.
 
Saric is the only Colonial Athletic Association player ranked among the national top 125 and is one of just eight in the ITA Atlantic Region.
 
Last season, Saric was named the CAA Player of the Year along with garnering All-CAA First Team honors in both singles and double. She won her final eight matches of the year and finished with an 11-3 overall record. She posted a pair of nationally-ranked wins and capped the season, going 3-0 with straight-sets wins at No. 1 singles in the CAA Championship to earn the Most Outstanding Performer award.
 
The Tribe opens the 2021 fall campaign at the Liberty Invitational, Sept. 11-12, with the host Flames, East Carolina and Marshall. W&M takes on Marshall on Saturday morning at the Liberty Tennis Complex Stadium Courts starting at 9 a.m. In the afternoon at the Stadium Courts, the Green and Gold takes on ECU beginning at 2 p.m. The Tribe wraps up the weekend on Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m., against Liberty at the Indoor Tennis Center.
