WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Toni Bickford stepped down as William & Mary's head women's tennis coach for personal and family reasons on Wednesday.
Bickford led the Tribe program for three years, making appearances in the Colonial Athletic Association Championship match in both 2019 and 2021. W&M capped last year ranked No. 7 in the ITA Atlantic Region. Also in 2021,
Mila Saric was named the CAA Player of the Year and the Most Outstanding Performer of the league tournament. In total, Bickford produced five All-CAA singles players and three All-CAA doubles teams with a total of five first-team selection (three singles, two doubles).
Under Bickford, the Tribe consistently succeeded in the classroom, earning ITA All-Academic Team honors during all three of her seasons and 19 players received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.

Robin Cambier will assume the duties of the interim head coach, while the department conducts a national search for a new head women's tennis coach.
