WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – For the first time in 669 days, William & Mary women's soccer returns to action at Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field on Thursday evening.
The Tribe (1-1) kicks off the home portion of its schedule when it welcomes former Colonial Athletic Association rival Old Dominion (1-1) on Thursday, Aug. 26. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
W&M closes out the weekend by hosting a Big Ten foe for the fourth time at Martin Family Stadium when it welcomes Northwestern (0-1) to Williamsburg on Sunday, Aug. 29, at 11:30 a.m.

Things to Know
- Senior
Caroline Monahan was the Tribe's most dangerous offensive threat in the opening two games. She topped W&M and all players with a career-high five shots in both contests. Monahan scored over the top of American's goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the Tribe's 2-1 win over the Eagles. It marked her second career goal and first career game-winner. She currently ranks third in the CAA in shots (10).
- W&M and Old Dominion meet for the 28th time overall, and the Tribe leads the all-time series at 23-3-1. The Monarchs won the last two meetings between the teams, both in Norfolk. Thursday is the fourth time the teams have met since ODU left the CAA in 2012-13. The last meeting in Williamsburg, W&M topped the Monarch, 3-0, in 2015.
- Sophomore goalkeeper
Grace Lemley started the Tribe's first two games of the 2021 season and, dating back to last spring, has started each of the program's last three contests. She turned an impressive five-save performance in a 1-0 setback at Virginia Tech on Aug. 22. On the year, Lemley ranks fourth in the CAA in saves (7) and save percentage (.778) and fifth in goals against average (1.00).
- The Tribe is 10-11-1 all-time against the Big Ten Conference and will play Northwestern for the second time in three years. The Wildcats are the fourth Big Ten team to visit Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field, joining Penn State, Wisconsin and Maryland. W&M will look for its first win over a Big Ten since winning at No. 12 Penn State, 2-1, in 2010. In 2019, the Wildcats topped W&M, 2-1, in Evanston, Ill.
- During the opening weekend, five Tribe players earned their first career starts and another four made their first career appearances. Senior

- The Tribe has enjoyed great success in the classroom recently. As a team, W&M sports a 3.53 cumulative GPA, following a 3.6 semester in the spring. In total, 30 W&M student-athletes earned CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll distinction last year and 23 received W&M Provost Award honors with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
