WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary head men's soccer coach
Chris Norris announced a six-match spring schedule on Thursday. The Tribe will play two nonconference games, three at home in Williamsburg and four in Colonial Athletic Association play.
W&M faces a pair of former league foes during the nonconference portion of the schedule. The Tribe opens the schedule hosting Old Dominion on Sunday, Feb. 28, before traveling to George Mason on Saturday, March 6.
The Tribe will play four CAA opponents over a five-week stretch in league action. W&M hosts Charleston on Saturday, March 13, and James Madison on Friday, April 2. The Green and Gold's road league slate includes trips to UNCW on Saturday, March 27 and Elon on Saturday, April 10.
The top two teams from the CAA North Division (Delaware, Drexel, Northeastern and Hofstra) and the South Division (Charleston, UNCW, JMU, Elon and W&M) advance to the CAA Championship, April 15-17, at Drexel.
All Tribe soccer home games during the spring season will be played at the Dillard Complex. During the fall, Albert-Daly Field received an upgrade to its drainage system and new sod on the playing surface. In an effort to allow the sod to take, no events will be held at Martin Family Stadium during the spring season.
W&M has not made a determination regarding attendance at home events during the spring season. When made, a decision will be based on state, local and campus guidelines.
