PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Sophomore
Mila Saric highlighted William & Mary women's tennis's effort on the second day of the 23rd annual Cissie Leary Memorial Invitational.
Saric posted her second singles win in as many days in the consolation side of Flight A, knocking off an All-Ivy League opponent in three sets. Saric outlasted Wan, who played at the No. 3 spot for the Lions last season, in the third-set super tiebreaker, 10-6, to improve to 2-1 on the year.
After opening the event with a win on Friday, senior
Charlotte Madson fell in the quarterfinals of Flight B. She dropped a 6-3, 7-5 decision to Penn's Gibson Thomas.
