- W&M and Towson meet for the 53rd through the 55th time in series history as the Tribe heads to Shuerholz Park this weekend. The Tribe leads the all-time series 32-20, including taking the series last year in Williamsburg. Senior

- The Tribe has had its most success offensively in the second inning of games this year. W&M has outscored its opponents 40-11 in the second frame.
- W&M stole four bases in the win at George Mason on Tuesday afternoon. The four stolen bases were the second most this season behind five bags swiped against Campbell on March 8. Senior
Zach Pearson tied a career-high with two steals in the game. For the season, W&M has swiped 42 bags.

Owen Socher led the Tribe last weekend against Elon going 4-for-10 with two doubles and his first homer of the season. He drove in two runs, while scoring three of his own. Since starting 17 of the last 19 games, Socher is hitting .286 (16-for-56) with five double, two triples, a homer, five RBI, and 15 runs scored.
- The Green and Gold played its first extra-inning game of the season on April 20 in the first game against Elon. The Tribe fell in the contest 11-9 in 10 innings in its first extra inning game since May of 2018. Head coach

- The Tribe had its first walk off of the season in its 2-1 triumph of the season against George Washington Wednesday night at Plumeri. It was the first walk-off for the Tribe since March 18, 2018, against East Tennessee State. The Tribe now has 13 walk-off wins under
Brian Murphy.
- W&M's 2-1 victory against George Washington was its 10th one-run game of the season. The Tribe is 6-4 in those contests this season, and the win snapped a three-game losing streak in those ball games.

Wade Strain was named the CAA Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 15. The righty allowed one run on three hits with a career-high seven strikeouts. He also retired 16 Dukes in a row from the fourth to the ninth. The award gives W&M five weekly awards as
Matt McDermott has been named the CAA Rookie of the Week and freshmen
Zach Tsakounis (twice) and
Tristan Snyder have been named Rookie of the Week.
- W&M turned three double-plays at Richmond on Wednesday afternoon marking the ninth time this season the Tribe recorded multiple double plays in a game. For the season, the Tribe pitching staff and defense has turned 36 double plays, which ranks second in the CAA and 23rd nationally.
- Senior
Bodie Sheehan has been one of the Tribe's all-time most consistent pitchers during his career. The senior has turned three of his best starts the last four times out, getting into the seventh inning each time. He has recorded six quality starts in his 10 starts this season. The Virginia Beach, Va. native has now made 54 starts and will break the school record on Saturday afternoon at Towson. Sheehan also became the seventh W&M pitcher to surpass 300 career innings and the 13th to eclipse 200 career strikeouts.
- Redshirt junior
Chris Farrell has been one of the sharpest arms out of the Tribe bullpen this season. Farrell owns a 2.01 ERA while throwing 22.1 innings with 33 strikeouts against just 13 walks. The redshirt junior leads the team with four saves.
- On the offensive end, the Tribe is fourth in the CAA with 229 runs scored. The team has put at least eight runs on the scoreboard in 12 games, going 10-2. W&M ranks 49th in the NCAA with 80 doubles, while its 17 triples are good for 10th in the NCAA.

Hunter Smith became the 20th player in school history to record 200 career hits in the doubleheader on Saturday against Elon. The senior ranks second in the CAA with 10 homers, while his 26 career bombs are good for a tie for ninth in W&M history.
- Classmate
Zach Pearson is enjoying a strong close to his Tribe career. He leads the team and ranks seventh in the CAA with a .324 batting average this year. The senior also leads the team in multi-hit games with 14, including the only two-hits at Richmond on Wednesday. Pearson has added 12 doubles, two triples, a homer and 27 RBI.
- Plumeri Park, the home of the Tribe Baseball, turns 20 this spring. The anniversary will be celebrated and recognized over the course of the season. The facility was constructed in large part due to the generous donation by Mr. Joseph J. Plumeri II in the autumn of 1996. It is now considered one of the finest baseball facilities in the region, consistently receiving upgrades over the course of time. W&M has enjoyed a lot of success at Plumeri Park with a 391-207 (.654) since its completion.
