REDSHIRT SENIOR YEAR/2020
Was phenomenal as the Tribe’s Friday starting pitcher… Allowed just one run in four starts… Struck out 19 batters in 21.1 innings of work… Set a career-high in innings pitched with 6.0 twice, at ECU (2/14) and vs. Merrimack (3/6)... Set a career-high with seven strikeouts in a win over Fairleigh Dickinson (2/22)... Threw 6.0 shutout innings with four strikeouts and one walk against preseason top-20 ECU (2/14)... Earned his first win of the season tossing 5.0 scoreless innings and striking out seven vs. FDU (2/22)... Earned his second win with 6.0 innings of scoreless ball allowing just four hits against Merrimack (3/6)... Allowed just one extra-base hit all season… Held opponents to a .192 batting average… Was named CAA Pitcher of the Week (2/18)... Has nine career wins and six saves in 133.0 innings pitched… Struck out 119 batters over four years. 

REDSHIRT JUNIOR YEAR/2019
Made 22 appearances all in relief for the Tribe during his redshirt junior season ... Finished the season with a 2.58 ERA, with five wins, and six saves ... Tossed 38.1 innings allowing 12 runs (11 earned) on 26 hits with 47 strikeouts ... Made his season debut going 1.1 innings with a strikeout and earned the win against Marist (2/15) ... Pitched a clean inning with two strikeouts in the win against Virginia (2/26) ... Tossed two innings with four strikeouts to earn his first save of the season at High Point (3/2) ... Picked up his second save with two strikeouts against Campbell (3/8) ... Earned his third save of the season allowing a hit and getting a K in the ninth inning against West Virginia (3/15) ... Earned the win and had four strikeouts over two innings at UNCW (3/29)... Picked up the save in the series finale by striking out the side at UNCW (4/31) ... Surrendered a hit, but struck out the side at Delaware (4/6) in a scoreless inning ... Picked up the win with a clean inning against George Washington (4/17) ... Had five strikeouts over 3.1 innings against Elon (4/21) ... Matched his five strikeouts and didn't allow a hit over the final 4.1 innings in a win over Charleston (5/4) ... picked up the save as he tossed 3.2 innings of scoreless baseball at Hofstra (5/18) ... Earned a save in the Tribe's first game of the CAA Tournament against James Madison (5/23) as he got the final four outs ... Tossed four scoreless innings allowing two hits, had five strikeouts and recorded the win as W&M outlasted Charleston (5/23) in extras in the CAA Tournament.

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE YEAR / 2018
Took big steps in his sophomore season with 13 starts and gradually becoming a part of the weekend rotation…Over the course of 52.2 innings, he struck out 37 batters and yielded 56 hits and 31runs (26 earned)…His breakout efforts led to a career-best 4.44 ERA…Made first appearance in a start versus VCU (2/20), pitching five innings and fanning three batters…Tossed two innings with two strikeouts, three hits and one run at then-ranked No. 18 Virginia…Whiffed a career-high six batters and gave up only one run and three hits against Radford (3/6)…Worked another effective start to earn a win over Lehigh (3/14), allowing just two runs (one earned) over five innings…Matched his career-high six K’s in 4.1 innings, helping W&M top UNCW (3/30)…Gained second win behind five solid inning of work against Towson (4/6), restricting the Tigers to two runs and five hits…Went a career-high six innings with two strikeouts, five hits, two runs (one earned) against Delaware (5/13).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN YEAR / 2017
Appeared in 16 games, all in relief, for the Green and Gold in his rookie season…Owned a 5.95 ERA after allowing 14 runs (13 earned) on 18 hits in 19.2 innings…Recorded 16 strikeouts and held opposing batters to a .243 batting average…Hurled an inning of relief in his collegiate debut against Lafayette (2/25)…Tossed the final 1.1 innings to complete a shutout win against Dayton (3/4)…Went two innings with a pair of strikeouts and one run on two hits against Rhode Island (3/17)…Pitched a shutout inning of relief with two strikeouts at ACC foe Virginia Tech (3/21)…Fanned a career-best four batters through 1.1 innings at East Tennessee State (4/13)…Struck out a couple of batters and allowed one run on two hits in 1.2 innings at George Mason (4/26).

HIGH SCHOOL
Played both baseball and golf at Flint Hill School … Was a three-year starting pitcher and shortstop for Flint School … Helped the team to three state tournament berths including two semifinal and one quarterfinal appearance … Earned Perfect Game All-American and Regional Honorable Mention in 2014 and 2015 … Posted a 1.16 ERA for his high school career … Notched a 2.5-1 strikeout to walk ratio in high school … Earned his team’s Sportsmanship Award his junior and senior season … Played AAU with the Demarini Stars.
 
PERSONAL
Son of David and Patricia Farrell … Dad, David, played baseball at Quinnipiac … Three uncles played Division I basketball at Brown, Colgate and Catholic, while a fourth played DII at Bridgeport … Earned his Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and is currently pursuing a Master's in Science and Business Analytics  … Enjoys spending time with his friends and family and fishing during his spare time.
