RICHMOND, Va. – The William & Mary men's tennis doubles team of junior Brenden Volk and sophomore Chen Ruo was named the Colonial Athletic Association Doubles Team of the Week for the week of March 4, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The duo clinched the doubles point in W&M's 5-2 setback to ACC foe Virginia Tech on Tuesday. The duo upset 25th-ranked Henrik Korsgaard and Alex Riberiro, 6-4, at the No. 1 slot. It was the second victory over a nationally ranked squad for Volk and Ruo, who evened their dual-match record at 3-3.
 
It is the Tribe's second weekly award of the season. The pair of senior Tristan Bautil and freshman Oren Vasser earned the doubles team of the week for the week of Feb. 25.
 
W&M is in the midst of a three-match road swing and plays the middle contest of the trip at CAA foe Elon on Sunday March 10. First serve from Elon is set for 2 p.m.
