The William & Mary women's track & field team wrapped up the Raleigh Relays on Saturday with all three entries recording an all-time top-10 showing. The Tribe added another ECAC qualifier on the day, with two top-10 finishes.
- Starting things off was the pole vault, where sophomore
Taylor E. Jones (Fairfax Station, Va.) cleared an outdoor-best height of 3.65m (11-11.75) for 13th overall. That improved Jones to a tie for seventh all-time among Tribe athletes, and is the highest clearance for a W&M athlete since 2015.
- Next was the triple jump, where senior
Brianna Miller (Midlothian, Va.) finished ninth with a jump of 11.77m (38-7.5). That was the 10th-best jump ever at W&M, and gives Miller four of those top-10 showings.
- Finishing out the day was the javelin throw, where junior
Sam Moravsky (Sherman, Conn.) finished fifth overall with a throw of 44.73m (146-9). That re-qualified her for the ECAC Championships, and was the ninth-longest throw ever at W&M.
William & Mary returns home next weekend, hosting the 54th Annual Colonial Relays Thursday-Saturday, April 4-6. The nation's largest regular-season scored meet, the final two days of the Colonial Relays will be broadcast live on FloTrack for the second year in a row.
