WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Former William & Mary men's soccer standout
Marcel Berry recently inked a two-year deal and is playing professionally with the Harrisburg Heat of the Major Arena Soccer League. Berry is the fourth Tribe players over the last two seasons to sign professional contract and 37th overall.

Berry joined former Tribe teammate William Eskay on the MASL's Harrisburg Heat. The Heat sits in third place in the Eastern Division at 3-1 on the year. Berry scored his first career goal in Harrisburg's 8-4 win over the Rochester Lancers on Dec. 14. Eskay, who was named to the MASL All-Rookie Team last season, ranks second on the team with four goals on the year.

Berry was a four-time All-Colonial Athletic Association selection during his Tribe career. He garnered CAA Rookie of the Year honors and was a Freshman All-American in 2015. Berry earned a spot on the VaSID All-State team during each of his four seasons, including first team honors in 2015 and 2018. Over his career, Berry started 68 of his 71 appearances for W&M and finished with 26 points on six goals and 14 assists.

In total, three former W&M student-athletes compete in the MASL as Andrew Hoxie is a member of the Baltimore Blast. He is in his eighth season in the league and fifth with the Blast. He helped Baltimore to three-straight championships (2016, 2017, 2018) and has a goal and two assists in three games for the 2-2 Blast this season.

Antonio Bustamante (D.C. United in Major League Soccer) and William Eskay (Harrisburg Heat in the MASL) to sign professional contracts over the last two years. Berry is the eighth player under head coach
