RICHMOND, Va.—The Coastal Athletic Association announced its postseason men's soccer awards on Wednesday afternoon.
 
William & Mary's Damen Burney earned recognition for the Tribe by landing himself a spot on the CAA All-Rookie Team.
 
Burney, a 6-foot-6 defender, asserted himself as a key member of the Tribe's backline during his first college season. The Leesburg, Va. native started the last 12 games of the season for W&M.
 
Burney also was able to pick up his first career goal for the Green and Gold in the second to last game of the season, soaring through the air to head the ball in the back of the net in the 85^th minute. He played an average of 81 minutes per match this season over his 13 appearances for the Tribe.
