Hey Tribe fans!
Â
Summer has been moving along so quickly and I can't believe we are almost halfway through June. I have been studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic and I have loved every second! This past weekend our program took us on a trip to Vienna, Austria, which is about a five hour bus ride. Vienna was ruled by the Habsburg family for more than 600 years -- which we are currently learning about in my history class. It was really cool to see parts of the empire they constructed and connect all the dots from what I had just learned! I am back in Prague for a week of classes and exploring this beautiful city and then heading to Krakow, Poland this weekend to visit Auschwitz and the rest of the city.
As for the rest of the Tribe, Katie Webber is currently hiking up Mt. Lofty in Australia, and Erika Marr just took an excursion from her study abroad in Spain to experience Morocco! It has been so incredible to experience other parts of the world, but I really miss my teammates and The College! I cannot wait to get back to Williamsburg this August and even more excited to welcome in our freshmen! A good luck shoutout to all my teammates who just started summer classes and especially to our rising senior Maddy Dwyer who will be taking the MCAT soon!
We hope everyone is having a safe and fun summer!
Much love, Tribe!

Hey Tribe Fans!
Â
I can't believe it's already June! I know Tribe gym has been keeping busy all over the world recently! A few of us have come back to Williamsburg for the summer and it's been so fun getting to hang out with everyone! Katie Waldman and I moved into our first apartment and we are loving it so far! Big step up from the dorm life. Taylor White and Katie Waldman have started classes for the summer and have been busy studying, along with Madison Dwyer who is back home studying for the MCAT. We still have many studying abroad as well and they are having a blast! Lizzy recently went to Venice, Caroline traveled to Budapest, and Australia is still rocking Katie Webber's world! Many people are also traveling and enjoying time with family and friends, Hailey Haycox just got back from a fantastic trip to Italy with her family and Mary Graceyn Gordon went to Hawaii and California.Â
Â
As for training, it has been so fun getting back into the gym after not being able to do stuff for so long! It is our first week of our optional summer workouts that were sent out and were excited to start putting in some hard work for the upcoming season.Â
Â
This summer is already going by so quickly, I feel like we were just finishing up finals yesterday. We were recently given our loop groups and mentoring buddies for the 2019 season, which makes it even more real that I am not a freshman anymore and that we'll have a new class coming in! It's so exciting to see what everyone is up to this summer and I can't wait to see what the rest of 2018 summer will bring Tribe Gym!!Â

Hi Tribe fans!
Summer is finally here, and it is so great to see all the wonderful things everyone has already been up to! Tribe gym and our current alumni have been doing lots of traveling. Monica Ouellet just left for a summer of volunteer work in India, Kellie Wanamaker is on vacation in the Grand Cayman, Sophie Harris is currently studying abroad in Guatemala, Lizzy Snoddy and Katie Webber are about to leave for their study abroad programs in Italy and Australia, and Caroline Caponi is in Paris. In addition to traveling, there have been a few weddings. Lauren Winkler celebrated her sister's wedding on Saturday. Also, our very own tribe gym alumni, Lindsey and Landon, just celebrated their wedding in Williamsburg.
It is going to be a busy summer! I just got back from a trip to Vermont, and I start my summer internship at the New York State Governor's office tomorrow. I can't wait to see what everyone else is up to during the summer and am already excited to start working towards the 2019 season! I am excited for August when the incoming freshman start their college experience.
Much love,

Hey Tribe fans!
Â
That's a wrap on another great year in Williamsburg! Congrats to our seniors Kellie, Gaby, Monica, Eileen, and Fallon on a wonderful four years! It is hard to believe that another year has already come and gone, and I can finally call myself a senior. It feels like just yesterday that I was finding my freshman roommate and shopping for my dorm room. I'm sure our new freshmen are feeling just as excited as I was three years ago!
Â
This past week was a busy one on campus. We all finished up our last few finals and papers at the beginning of the week before gearing up for a weekend full of graduation festivities. I am lucky enough to still be in the 'burg, so I got to enjoy graduation weekend for the first time. Friday night marked the Candlelight Ceremony, where all of the seniors gathered at Wren to hear speakers, sing the Alma Mater, and pass light to each candle until the whole courtyard was illuminated. On Saturday the seniors enjoyed their final walk through campus together and a wonderful (but very hot!) commencement ceremony. Finally, on Sunday individual department ceremonies took place where everyone received their actual diplomas. It was a tiring weekend, but it was great to see each of the seniors celebrating with their family and friends!
Â
The rest of the team has been up to some exciting stuff as well. Mary Graceyn is on vacation in Disney World, Sophie just left for a study abroad program in Guatemala, and Lauren attended her own sister's graduation ceremony in Illinois! Lizzy is moving into my apartment, so we've been busy organizing, cleaning, and packing. She heads to Florence next week to study abroad, while I head to Adelaide, Australia. It's definitely going to be an adventure!
Â
Have a great summer Tribe fans! Â

Hey Tribe fans,
We are busy wrapping up our last few finals and preparing for graduation this weekend. I am still in denial that this is my last week of undergrad, but I'm excited to spend the time with friends and show my family my favorite things about Williamsburg. This year graduation is at Zable Stadium so we get even more tickets for our family to attend.Â
This past weekend we went to Virginia Beach with the men's gymnastics team. It was great to spend some much deserved relaxation in the sun. We even got to play a competitive game of putt-putt golf.
As everyone begins to head home for the summer and we say our goodbyes, it's hard not to reflect on the great year we've had as a team, and the incredible four years I've had at William & Mary! I couldn't have done it without the support of the team!Â

Hey Tribe Fans,
Â
I cannot believe that this is my last time writing the tribe gym blog! This past Friday we had our end of the season team picnic. Taylor White's grandparents were kind and generous enough to invite us to their beautiful home on the river. We played some corn hole and ladder ball and enjoyed some delicious food prepared by Taylor's grandparents. We then exchanged some end of the year awards and talked about or favorite memories from the season.
Â
This is our final week of classes and then we will be in full swing with final exams. Everyone will be spending lots of time studying and preparing for those tests so that we can crush em and enjoy some of the summer with friends and family.Â
Â
Thanks for all of your Tribe Gymnastics Support!

Hey Tribe gym fans!!
Â
The season is officially over and it has been a crazy fun year!! My freshmen year could not have been better! This team is so close and has accomplished so much including breaking a couple school records! Now that season is over we get to go into the gym and work upgrades! Everyone is taking it easy and letting their bodies heal after our fantastic season! Now that we don't have any more competitions, we are focusing on school and our upcoming finals! There are only a couple weeks left in the semester so it's crunch time!
Â
I can't wait for the end of the year and to see how everyone grows over the summer as they work upgrades! Our goal is to make next season even more record-breaking!!

Hey Tribe!
Â
Wow what a crazy season it has been! We have accomplished so much and I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of such an amazing team! We recently had three of our teammates qualify to regionals at North Carolina State. Katie Waldman, Taylor White and Caroline Caponi were representing the Tribe in the all-around.
Â
Katie Waldman placed 14th in the all-around and was amazing to watch her have blast out on the competition floor! Also, the three of them got to see some schools that we normally do not get to compete against like LSU and Nebraska!Â
Â
I can't wait to see what next year will bring as we begin our summer practices and gear up for next season!

Much love for the Tribe,Â

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend spent with family and friends! This past week, most of us enjoyed a well deserved break from practice after a great performance at ECACs. It was nice to have a week to relax, catch up on schoolwork, and be a "normal" William & Mary student for a little while, and we're all feeling refreshed and ready to get back into the gym and start working towards our goals for next year! For our Regional qualifiers Katie Waldman, Taylor White, and Caroline Caponi, the season is not done yet, and they've been putting in work in the gym to prepare for their competition at NC State next weekend. We are so proud of them and can't wait to watch them represent the Tribe at Regionals!
This weekend was eventful, with multiple members of Tribe Gym taking part in campus events. Evan helped to put on the Astral fashion show, which was a huge success, and Monica, Anna, Evan, and Eileen all helped out with the W&M TribeTHON event, which raised over $55,000 for the CHK foundation!
We also got to enjoy Easter weekend, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the spring weather. Needless to say, it's been a great semester so far for Tribe Gym, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the semester will bring!Â

Hey Tribe Fam!
Â
So the season has finally come to an end… or has it?!Â
Â
ECACs was a major success. Not only did we score our second highest score form all season (194.575) and placed second following Yale, but we had five Tribe gymnasts receive one or more All ECAC honors. Shoutout to Katie Waldman for winning all around — GO TRIBE! In addition we may have a couple gymnasts proceeding to regionals in a couple weeks (so yes, the season continues).Â
Â
As this was my first time attending and competing at the ECAC Championship, I was awestruck by the energy and confidence each team brought to the arena. There was not one inch of the arena that wasn't filled with team spirit and excitement. Although we didn't bring home 1st place, I couldn't be more proud of our team. We all had complete faith in each other abilities and brought our best gymnastics to the competition. Not to mention, we all had an AMAZING time and showed the crowd our TRIBE PASSION!Â
Â
This week, most of us will be resting up, recovering from the long season and successful weekend — also testing out what it is like to be a regular student on campus. However, I am so excited to see what Tribe gymnastics accomplishes post season. I know everyone will be eager to learn new skills and push to be their best for next season.Â
Â
Thank you everyone for the support this year, and especially those who came out to cheer in the stands! We love our tribe fam!Â

Get ready for my very last Tribe Gymnastics Blog. It has been one heck of a ride! This season has flown by so fast, and I can't believe that I competed at Kaplan Arena for the very last time this past Friday. We had a pretty solid meet, and even got the win against U Penn; it was a great way to end my last meet at home. We had some great routines from everyone. Senior Fallon Way got to compete beam and show off her unique skills. Junior Katie Webber hit a beautiful vault and bar set. Sophomore Caroline Caponi won the all around. Freshman Katie Waldman showed off her sass on floor. It was a quick turn around for the Tribe, as we also competed at Towson Sunday afternoon for our last regular season meet. There were five teams there celebrating the Towson seniors, so there was lots of energy in the arena. It wasn't our best meet of the season, but as a team, we kept building after every event, and we finished with a solid floor rotation.
This week, we have just two practices before we leave for the ECAC Championships at the University of Pennsylvania this upcoming Saturday. I'm confident in our ability to achieve great success this weekend because we have been building for this moment all season. It will be a bittersweet moment for me because it'll be my last ever meet as a Tribe Gymnast, but I've had an amazing journey as a member of the Tribe, and I'm ready for one last meet to leave it all our on the floor.

Hey Tribe!!
Â
We are just coming off of our double duel meet with the Men's Team against Towson on Saturday! It was an amazing experience to compete side-by-side with our guys for the first time and great to have a ton of our alumni in the stands, as it was also our Alumni meet! Thank you for all the alumni that came back to support your Tribe. The energy was incredible and it made the meet so fun. Shoutout to Katie Waldman for winning the all-around title and my very own roommate, Elizabeth Snoddy, for getting the Unsung Hero Award because of her beautiful floor set!
Â
This Friday we will have our last home meet of the season against the University of Pennsylvania and then will be traveling to Towson for another meet on Sunday! It's crazy how fast season has flown by this year! We're excited to build from our 195.1 score last weekend and have a great set of meets next weekend!
Â
Thanks as always for all of the love and support!

Hi Tribe Fans!
Â
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. I know we did. This past weekend, we had a dual meet with West Chester where we earned our highest team total of the season, 195.1 and broke many records individually. I am so proud of all of the hard work that we've put in because it looks like it is all paying off.
Â
On that note, I wanted to give a huge thank you to West Chester gymnastics for their incredible sportsmanship. Not only did they have to endure a night of traveling on the bus through that windy weather, but they showed up to the meet ready to compete and help us to spread awareness for breast cancer at our Pink meet. Shoutout to them for being so great!
Â
So, it's officially SPRING BREAK. We are going to be having a ton of fun in the gym while also training for our upcoming alumni meet this weekend at home. I hope to see some of you tribe fans there!

We are so excited because we just broke the school record for the longest streak of 193 team scores! Also shout-out to Evan Pakshong for scoring her career high on beam and placing 2nd! Our focus this year has been consistently building upon each meet in order to peak just in time for ECACs. We won the team title my freshman year, so I know the seniors would love to finish our collegiate careers the same way we started :)Â
Â
It goes without saying that we are ecstatic about our first home meet this Saturday vs. West Chester. We are partnering with Here's for the Girls in order to focus on breast cancer awareness for our annual pink meet! Here's for the Girls main focus is women supporting women and they offer in-person support groups through the "Beyond Boobs" program, which operates on a community level in groups across the country as well as Pink Link which offers online support for women 24/7. To learn more and donate to their great cause visit: www.hereforthegirls.org/donateÂ

Hey Tribe gym fans,
Â
We just had our first overnight meet at Yale, in Connecticut. It was a fairly long bus ride, but a fun short trip. We had a lot of good individual placements including freshman Katie Waldman winning the event title on vault, Junior Aaliyah Kerr won the title on floor, and sophomore Evan Pakshong placing tied for second on bars. We are super excited to be heading back to NC State this Saturday, and try to get our season high.Â
We have been really working hard in the gym and focusing on being GREAT. We can't wait to show off all of our skills in these upcoming meets and really prove how great we are. Be sure to watch Facebook Live and keep up with the Tribe!

Hi everyone!
Â
We are coming off of another great weekend at Maryland. We received our season-high team score and recorded the 4th best vault score in school history! A HUGE shout out to our men's team for making the trip to come and support us. It was so fun to have them there cheering for us in the stands. We are really looking forward to continue our upward trend with a great - albeit short - week in the gym before we head off to Yale.Â
Â
It's getting into midterms season in school, so our noses are down to the grindstone, but we know all this hard work in the classroom and in the gym are going to pay off. We can't wait to compete against Yale this Saturday and hope that you all tune in on our Facebook Live feed! That's all for now, be sure to check back in next week!

Â
After our off weekend, the Tribe headed to George Washington last Sunday for our first quad meet of the season. We started on bars where Caroline Caponi scored a huge 9.8! Also, Evan Packshong competed floor exercise for the first time ever and not only had an amazing performance but earned a 9.725. Taylor White competed all-around for the Tribe for the first time this season and earned our highest all-around score of the meet. Go Tribe!!
Â
We have been focusing on presentation in our beam and floor sets in practice, and it has really started to show in competition. Watching the Tribe compete on floor never fails to make me smile! Everyone is excited to get back in the gym this week to keep improving and continue to put in work to keep progressing this season. This weekend we head to Maryland, so tune in to Facebook live Sunday at 1:00 pm to watch your favorite Tribe gymnasts compete!!Â

Hey Tribe Fans!
Â

The Tribe was ready to keep building this week after our performance at NC State. Knowing we had an off weekend from competition, we were focusing on some new upgrades in our routines as well as presentation and some smaller details.
Taylor White has been nailing some front front pikes on vault, and
Evan Pakshong has been putting in the work on floor to have a strong, beautiful set. In order to stay in competition mode, we had multiple pressure sets throughout the week.
Katie Webber started off the bar pressure set with a beautiful hit routine, and
Erika Marr nailed a yurchenko half in her vault pressure set. There were many confident and solid performances throughout the week.
Â
On Saturday, most of us took a mini road trip to Annapolis to watch the William & Mary Men's Gymnastics team compete at the US Naval Academy. We love being able to show support for them like they do for us. It was really exciting to see them achieve their season high team score. GO TRIBE!
Â
We are looking forward to competing at George Washington University this Sunday at 1:00 pm. Many of our alumni have already reached out and said they will be coming to support us, so we are super excited to see them! Our live feed will be up at 1:00 pm on our William & Mary Women's Gymnastics Facebook page if you are looking to tune in!

Hey Tribe Fans!
Â

We are in our third week of season, and are in the gym working hard after our performance at NC State this past weekend! Not only did we post our highest season opening team score since 2015 at Towson, but we added three points to that score during our tri-meet with Ball State and NC State. Our performances were highlighted by clean bar routines from
Evan Pakshong and
Katie Waldman, both scoring 9.775 respectively. We carried our strong performance all the way to our last event, where we posted one of the Tribe's highest vault scores in history with a 48.60.
Â
In addition to our exciting three-point advancement, we are so proud of our freshman,
Katie Waldman, as she has been earned ECAC Rookie of the Week!
Â
We are excited to have the weekend off to rest our bodies and minds, but looking forward to our quad meet at GW next Sunday! If you're in the D.C. area we hope to see you there, as it was so nice to see some alumni at our NC State meet! We appreciate their support!

Â

Season is officially upon us and we are so excited that the whole team is finally back together! We had our first meet yesterday at Towson and we had a blast. Freshman,
Katie Waldman, killed it yesterday as she placed third all-around in her first collegiate meet! Aaliyah got a 9.825 on floor, and
Mary Graceyn Gordon had a great vault with a 9.7. We had our highest season opening score since 2015! I know everyone is looking forward to season starting and getting to spend even more time together than we already do! We've been working hard in the gym and doing lots of team bonding together. Winter break is coming to an end as we are starting to prepare for classes to start on Wednesday. Hey Tribe Gym Fans!
Â

Taylor here! Happy 2018 and welcome to the new year! New Year equals new and improved gymnastics! Exciting things have been going down in Williamsburg as your favorite Tribe gymnastics are gearing up to start the seasoning in just a few short days! Lots has been going down in the gym that we are super exciting to share with you! We have been putting in some serious work! This past week we have really been focusing on not only hitting routines consistently, but correcting small details such as pointing our toes and squeezing out legs and it's really beginning to show! Inside the gym, we are also focusing on getting into the mindset of competition by simulating the competition setting as well as the pressure associated with it. Everyone looks unfazed! We have also been putting some work outside of the gym really getting to know, love, and how best to work and communicate with each member on the team. This is the closest our team have been and felt in such a long time! We cannot wait for you to be a part of it. We are so excited to show you how hard we have been working these past few weeks.

This week has been a fun and somewhat weird week in the 'Burg. Inside the gym, your favorite Tribe gymnasts are doing a Green vs. Gold stick off. The team was divided into either group, Green or Gold, and each stuck landing is a point. Whoever has the most points wins a special surprise on Tuesday that has remained unannounced. Let's just say I have a good feeling about who is going to win this stick off (Go Gold!). Wednesday night, we experienced a rarity here and received 7 inches of snow! Due to the snow, practice was canceled, but that didn't stop the team from having loads of fun outside of the gym. Instead of staying in, they went sledding, built snowmen, took some beautiful photos and ran around campus seeing it in a whole new light (covered in snow!)  As for me, this week has been a BLAST! Not only did I get to play in the snow with my best friends—but a few of them and I also got to go see a movie—Pitch Perfect 3! It was so much fun! I also got to do a lot of baking with week with freshman,
Mary Graceyn Gordon as we attempted to bake cupcakes and a cake for my boyfriend, David Watkin's, birthday! Surprisingly, nothing blew up and it tasted great! It's the small victories, you know?Â
Well, that's a little update in what's going on in and outside of the gym! Hope to see you at some of our meets this upcoming season! Your support means everything to us and as always…

Hi Tribe fans!
It has been a busy last few weeks. It was so nice to finish the semester and get to go home right in time for the holidays. Everyone enjoyed spending Christmas break with their families. On the 28th of December, we returned to Williamsburg to start winter training. On New Years Eve, we had a great time ringing in the new year with the men's team. It was really nice to have some friends on campus to celebrate with!
Now it is time to really focus on gymnastics and working on hitting our routines. Our pressure sets on beam, floor, and bars were looking good. We are all getting really pumped for season to start next Sunday, January 14th against Towson. We have discussed our team goals and ready to get the season going.

Hey Tribe fans!!
Â

It has been a busy few weeks in Williamsburg. With the end of classes came our most anticipated day of the semester, Green and Gold! It felt amazing finally getting to put on our leotards and compete in Kaplan for the first time since March. The intrasquad was great practice to get ourselves back into "meet mode" and definitely gave us an idea of what we need to focus on before our first meet at Towson (in only 27 days)! The evening was highlighted by some great performances, including sophomore
Evan Pakshong's bar routine, junior
Madison Dwyer's beam routine, and a new floor routine from sophomore
Elizabeth Snoddy. We'd love to give a big shout out to all our fans that came out…the energy was awesome!
Â
Since then the team has been chugging away at final exams. Most of us are on campus until the last day this year, so in between studying we're managing to fit in a few more practices. The gym is a great escape when we need a break! On Saturday a few of us joined the men's gymnastics team to enjoy the annual Yule Log Ceremony, which included music, speeches from various groups on campus, and the one and only President Reveley dressed up as Santa. Yule log tradition says that by tossing your holly sprig into the fire, you toss away all your worries for the new year!
Â
Those of us lucky to be done with exams already are enjoying time with family and friends. Kellie is in New York City seeing The Rockettes, while Gaby is back in Las Vegas hanging out with her pups. On Friday Lauren's brother came to the 'burg for a short visit before they road-tripped home together. On Wednesday night I'll be catching a plane home to Nashville to spend Christmas with my family. Fingers crossed I won't have to sprint through the Charlotte airport this time around!
Â
Wishing you all a safe and Happy Holidays, however you may be celebrating!
Lots of love,

Â

Our Green and Gold intrasquad is officially less than a month away, and we are all very excited that season is right around the corner! Everyone has been working hard in the gym, putting together some new routines and combinations as well as perfecting our skills in preparation for our next meet simulation, which is this Friday! We have been making some big improvements and are looking forward to building upon our previous meet sim. Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat accounts to see our routines and highlights from the meet simulation!
Â
Additionally, everyone has been working hard in the classroom as we finish up our last round of midterms before Thanksgiving.
Â
This weekend, we had a lot of fun spending time with our official recruits. We watched the Tribe play Towson in football, did a scavenger hunt in Colonial Williamsburg, went out to a team dinner, and watched a movie while drinking hot chocolate, since the cold fall weather has finally hit Williamsburg! Next weekend, we look forward to our meet simulation, a team brunch, and volunteering with the local food bank.
Â
I hope everyone is having a wonderful fall season! Go Tribe!

Hey Tribe Fans!Â
Â

Tribe gymnastics has been busy this week! Besides working on our sets and staying busy as ever in the gym, we started off the week celebrating Halloween. On Tuesday, the seniors dressed up as mummies, the juniors as a dice, the sophomores as power rangers, and the freshmen as the three little pigs and the big bad wolf.
Then on Thursday, we had a pressure set on beam, where we were able to showcase our improvements since last week's meet sim. This week we will continue to prepare for the next meet sim in two weeks… everything is happening so soon. As a team, we have decided to focus on the small details. Although last week's meet sim was a great starting point, we want to enter the season confident in our sets with clean form, and therefore consistency, clean landings, pointed toes, and straight legs are crucial.  Get ready to see more updates on our Instagram and Facebook as we gear up for the next meet sim.
In addition to gymnastics activities, we successfully sold many 50/50 raffle tickets at the last home game. YAY tribe gym! Also, next week our official recruits are visiting, we are so excited to host them and show them more of William & Mary and invite them into our family. Lastly, congrats to our unsung Hero,
Katie Waldman, great job being an extraordinary teammate and keep up the hard work!Â

Hey Tribe Fans!
Â
This semester has been flying by! This past Friday we had our first meet sim of the semester, and it was great to get out there and show of the routines we've all been working so hard on. We had a lot of good things come from the meet sim and definitely lots of things we can improve on. I had lots of fun watching everyone perform all of their routines, especially the freshmen! I can't wait to see what they bring to the team dynamic this year.
Freshman
Katie Waldman had a fantastic meet sim! She hit all four events, and she did a beautiful backhandspring layout, layout on beam. Sophomore
Taylor White stuck a fantastic front handspring front on vault. Hopefully the half twist comes soon. Junior
Regan Sindelar finally competed in her first meet sim, and she competed one of the best yurchenko tuck full's I've seen her do. Senior
Fallon Way hit a fabulous series on beam, connecting her side aerial to a side sumi. There was definitely a lot of good gymnastics on Friday! The atmosphere in the gym also was tremendous! It was great to see such high energy and excitement from everyone.
Â
Now that we've got the first meet sim under our belts, we can start cleaning up our routines and preparing for our second meet and Green and Gold! Meet season is just around the corner, and I'm so excited to see what my last season has in store.

Hey Tribe Fans!
Â
It's already more than halfway through the semester, which means season is getting closer and closer! Our team this year is working incredibly hard and already showing a ton of consistency and hitting some amazing sets! We always have room to improve, but it is so encouraging to see how far we are at this point in the semester. We're beyond excited to show off these sets for our first Meet Sim of the year THIS FRIDAY!! Get pumped and be sure to check out the videos on Facebook after!
Â
Also, this past weekend was Homecoming! It's always so amazing to see the bond Tribe Gym has and maintains throughout the years. We had a team tailgate at Kaplan on Saturday, where we got to see and meet a ton of amazing alum. Check out some of the photos from the tailgate below!
Â
With meet sim just at the end of the week and Green & Gold getting closer and closer, our team is getting stronger each day and thrilled for an amazing season. Thank you for all your support and an amazing homecoming weekend!

Hey Tribe!
It's been such a great start to the month of October. Last week, we had our Outback Fundraiser dinner. I wanted to congratulate the entire team on a job well done, and for a huge success for the event. Currently we are on FALL BREAK. It's been such a nice time relaxing at home for me, but a couple of the members on Tribe gymnastics have been traveling and doing some pretty cool stuff. Our first day back will be on Wednesday and I can't wait to see everyone again after the weekend.
Once we return from break, we will not only be preparing for our first gymnastics meet sim next week, but also for homecoming weekend in a couple of days. There will be a lot of alumni that will be watching us practice this week, and it should be such a fun way to end the week by showing off everything that we've been doing to them.
Go Tribe,

Hey Tribe fans!Â
Â
We're on our final push before Fall Break.  Everyone has been busy studying for midterms and finishing up their work before we get to enjoy a few extra days off this weekend.  Last week we had our first beam pressure set in the gym; it was so exciting to see everyone showing off their routines and rocking the long sleeve leos again!  The hard work is really starting to pay off in the gym as we're putting together more routines and perfecting upgrades.  Tribe gym's coming in hot this year (especially with our new Under Armour apparel we got this week)!Â
Â
This Tuesday we are hosting our Outback Dinner fundraiser! We haven't had one since my freshman year, but I'm excited we're starting it up again.  It's a fun night with a lot of good food!Â

Hey Tribe fans!!
We have a pretty busy week coming up with midterms beginning. We have had a little break from morning conditioning, and have only been doing early mornings 3 days a week. Despite this, each day we have been putting in 100% of our effort and using the days off of early morning conditioning to help us rest and be ready to work hard in the gym. The energy has been really high in the gym and everybody is pushing extremely hard to get us prepared for the season ahead! We have really been striving to focus on details and getting our skills looking clean as we begin to put together our routines! We have had a pretty relaxed weekend and are ready to come into the gym stronger than ever! As always, Go Tribe!!

Hey Tribe Fans!
Â

It's been a busy week for us all here in Williamsburg! We had our first full week of official practice, which of course meant we had themes for each day! We finished up our last week of boot camp conditioning, but the early mornings didn't end—we were up at 8am on Saturday for our annual Suicide Prevention Walk! We had such a great time raising awareness and funds for such an amazing cause. We had a great turnout and it was inspiring to see so many people from different backgrounds coming together as one. It really shows our One Tribe, One Family motto holds true to this day. We are so excited to keep working in the gym and put together more skills and combos in preparation for meet season! Thank you for the everlasting support and as always, Go Tribe!!

Hey Tribe Fans!
Â
We just completed our first week of classes and with that, came our first completed week of Boot Camp! We have been doing morning cardio and conditioning through the week, and everyone is really committed to putting in 110% effort. The Tribe will have two more weeks of Boot Camp where we will be focusing on building endurance and strength.Â
Â
Additionally, we had team pictures on Friday! We took our team pictures in front of the Governor's Palace in Colonial Williamsburg. We even had a horse and carriage stop by for a few pictures. The pictures will be posted soon, so be sure to check them out!
Â
As we begin a new week, the Tribe is looking forward to starting official practice on Wednesday. We are all looking forward to putting our routines together and fixing up those little details so ensure we will be prepared for the upcoming season! I know I am really excited for what is in store for us this year.

Hey Tribe Gym Fans!

I cannot believe time has gone by so fast and that I finally figured out the fastest ways around campus! As move in and orientation came to an end, we finally were able to start classes and get into the gym to practice. Everyone is looking so good and I am so excited to see the things we will accomplish this year! Convocation was last Wednesday and as us freshmen walked through the Wren building, to the Sunken Garden all of Tribe gym was right there to welcome us! Everyone is making the freshmen feel right at home and we could not be more excited to finally be here. This past weekend we also had a team sleepover at Taylor's grandparents' house (which they were so awesome for hosting all of us!!). We tye dyed shirts and they all turned out so well! It was so great to hang out with everyone and just relax together. I know this year is going to be amazing!
Lots of Love,

Hi Tribe fans!
Welcome to the new school year! We cannot believe that summer has passed us by, but we are so excited to uncover a new fall semester, and even more excited to welcome our new W&M gymnasts! Welcome to the Tribe Katie, Hailey, Mary Graceyn, and Lauren!

Â
The sophomore class visited the girls on move in day, and everyone seemed to be very happy with their dorms and roommates! While we were helping the freshmen, our upperclassmen were volunteering for the food bank! They said they had a ton of fun and were very successful collecting canned goods! Tribe gymnastics loves reaching out to the community through our service projects during the year!

Classes begin on Wednesday, and everyone is very excited to get the ball rolling!

Hey Tribe gym fans!
Â

I can't believe how fast summer has flown by! I just finished my dorm shopping and now I'm writing my first blog! Now that I have all my dorm supplies, the reality of college is setting in. I can't wait to be in Williamsburg with the rest of my team and start practicing with my fellow freshies: Mary Graceyn,
Hailey Haycox, and
Lauren Winkler. Lauren and I found out that we are in the same dorm (Jefferson) so I'm super pumped to make the long trek across campus to the gym with her every day!Â
Â
My summer was filled with crazy adventures and I'm eager to start new ones in college - in and out of the gym. I know everyone has been training hard over the summer and we are in for a great year! I've seen some videos of everyone's summer practices and all of the skills are looking fantastic!Â
Â
My last few days in Omaha will be spent packing and saying goodbye to my friends and family. Then I'm off on my first 19-hour drive up to Williamsburg! I'm thrilled to start college and I can't wait to see what the tribe has in store for the 2018 season!

Hi Tribe Fans!!
Hope everyone has had a great summer so far. Summer sure has flown by for me! I realized this as I started packing up my things from my childhood home to bring to my apartment in the Burg later this week. Everyone is getting super excited about coming back to campus in a few short weeks! We are also beyond ecstatic to get to finally have our freshman class in the Burg with us! I feel like yesterday my freshman class was getting ready to come to Williamsburg! Oh, how time has flown by already!Â
Wow. These last few days have been crazy for me. Outside of gym workouts, working upgrades, and working as a coach at my gym, I have been helping my twin sister, Morgan, pack her entire room to move to her apartment back in Blacksburg. She moved on Friday into her apartment after a long 4-hour drive in a cramped U-Haul with my mother and my boyfriend, David. Thank goodness there was a few of us there because she lived up on the second floor! As for your other favorite Tribe gymnasts, most are working hard and really trying to get those last-minute upgrades for the season as well as enjoying time with family and friends before coming back to school for the fall semester!
I am so incredibly stoked to get to see all of my friends in just a few short weeks! We are so excited to get this 2018 year started off with a bang! Stay tuned for awesome summer upgrades and updates!

Hi Tribe fans!

I can't believe that everyone returns back to the 'burg in two and a half weeks! I can't believe the summer is almost over and everyone is going to get back into the swing of things at school. This summer has been extremely busy for me. It started with my study abroad trip to Greece followed by a family vacation in Barcelona, Spain. When I returned home mid-July, I was able to start training bars again which has been super exciting. Last weekend I celebrated my cousins wedding and next weekend I head out on a cruise to the Bahamas.
The rest of the team has been thoroughly enjoying their summer as well. This past weekend
Gaby Johanek went to Penn State to visit one of her high school friends.
Sophie Harris went to her cabin in Wisconsin for the weekend before heading back home to Minnesota.
Katie Webber returned back home to Tennessee. While being home, her sister got engaged, and
Taylor White is in the Bahamas for her family friend's wedding. This is her first family vacation in 10 years, and she has been enjoying swimming with pigs.
Everyone has been working very hard in the gym and I can't wait to see all of the upgrades my teammates have been working on when I get back to school. I can't wait to see what this year brings!
Lots of love,
Anna

Hey Tribe Fans!!
Â

It's so exciting to be writing my first blog! This summer has really flown by and I'll be moving into my first dorm in less than a month!! I've been really busy this summer trying to get everything in order before move-in day. I have loved shopping for my dorm room and getting all the little things I'll need for once I'm on my own. I have also been practicing all summer long, keeping up on my skills and working upgrades! Besides being at the gym, I have been hanging with friends and family as much as I can. I recently took a trip to Mexico with my family and it was breathtaking! It was so great to spend time with all my family before it's time to leave!
Â
I am beyond excited to join everybody on campus soon and see all the girls again! Our three other Freshies:
Mary Graceyn Gordon,
Katie Waldman, and
Lauren Winkler have also all been working hard in the gym! They have also all been vacationing and soaking up the last bit of summer. Everyone's videos look great and I'm excited to see what we do this year! GO TRIBE!!

Hey Tribe Fans!!
Â

I cannot believe we are only one month away from freshman move in! This summer has been flying by (a little too quickly), but I am so excited to get the team back together again soon. I have been enjoying a nice, hot Williamsburg summer. In between study sessions for my Spanish class, I have been taking advantage of all the things I might not have time to do during the busy school year! In the past few weeks we have been to the beach, painted pottery, gone bowling, and even crossed the James River on the local ferry. Tribe Gymnastics alum
Briana Gironda has been keeping me company in my apartment all summer as well. Last week everyone in town got together to celebrate one last birthday in the 'burg with her before she starts her new job in D.C. on Monday. I will miss her but am already excited to see her at homecoming!
Â
The rest of the girls are also staying busy. Last week Evan saw MGMT and Frank Ocean play at a music festival in Los Angeles, Monica went to an Ed Sheeran concert in Canada, and Anna enjoyed a Kings of Leon concert in New York. Caroline took a road trip to Maine after returning from her service trip to Guatemala! This weekend Regan is off to Illinois and Michigan with her family to check out colleges for her sister, and Gaby is headed to Cleveland, Ohio for a work conference. Madison is taking a trip to Boston with her sister where she plans to attend a Red Sox game and explore the city!
Â
In between our summer adventures, we are getting in plenty of work at the gym! I have been training a couple of different floor passes and an upgraded bar dismount. Lizzy is working on a front double twist on floor, and Taylor is learning a new vault and connecting a new pak salto out of her shaposh on bars. Also, Anna is training bars for the first time since her ACL surgery! I have a feeling it is going to be an awesome year!

Hey Tribe fans!

I'm so excited to be writing my first blog! I can't believe it's almost August! Time really has flown by this summer. I have been so busy with dorm room shopping, spending time my friends and family, and practicing in the gym. Also at the end of this week, I will be traveling to St. Maarten with my best friend and her family for vacation. Once I get back, I will only have a few more weeks left in Burlington before I head off to Williamsburg. During those weeks my family and I will also be moving my older brother into his apartment at Appalachian State University. My parents are going to be empty nesters once I move in, but I am sure they will be visiting me regularly!
Â
I am so thrilled to see all the girls again, and start training in the gym. My fellow freshies:
Katie Waldman,
Hailey Haycox, and
Lauren Winkler have all been training in the gym this summer, as well as vacationing to take time off the rest their bodies. I have seen numerous videos of everyone working on upgrades, and I am pumped for this upcoming season! Counting down the days until I am officially part of the Tribe!

Hey tribe fans!
Â
I can't believe it's almost July! I hope everyone is planning to spend the holiday relaxing and hanging out with friends and family!Â
Â
The first summer school session ended and the second one has begun! Monica completed the first session and is now back home in Canada spending some quality time with her family. She is lucky enough to be home for Canada day where she is celebrating at the lake. Regan had the opportunity to attend the college baseball national championship game last week! As for myself, I just went on my annual family vacation where my aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins spend a week at the beach in New Jersey. It was a great time catching up with the whole family!
Â
Everyone is in the gym working hard to get back skills and learn some new ones as well! I have seen lots of videos of the girls back home and they are making some great progress! As for the girls here in the Burg, we have been doing the same and pushing each other to be better each day. I am very excited for August when the incoming freshmen get to start their college experience.Â

Oh my gosh the first six weeks of summer have gone by so fast! Tomorrow I leave to come back to Williamsburg. I am so excited to escape the Arizona heat where it has been 120 degrees! Yes I said 120 - it is surprising that I have not turned into a crisp yet. It has been nice being home and catching up with all my friends that I haven't seen since Christmas. My two best friends took me to visit their college campus in Northern Arizona (still not as pretty as William and Mary's campus) and we got caught in a freak hail and rain storm so we got totally soaked.Â
The rest of the tribettes are having an awesome summer too. Kelly Wanamaker is at the beach in New Jersey spending some time with her extended family.
Gaby Johanek just started her internship in D.C. today. And
Erika Marr just visited Connecticut for the last time to see her sister graduate before moving to Northern Virginia. I can't wait for the rest of the memories that this summer is going to bring!

So much love!

Hey Tribe fans!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! I've been enjoying my time with friends and family here in Omaha. I have a summer internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center working in the Human Genetics Lab, which has been a very cool experience! I've been working with DNA samples and learning more about how genetics testing works, and I'm really enjoying it. In the gym, I've been working on new bars connections and an upgraded vault for next season. I'm having lots of fun training alongside incoming Tribe freshman
Katie Waldman, who has been training some great floor upgrades, including double Arabians and full-ins! Outside of work and practice, my family took a trip to Wisconsin a few weeks ago, and we got to enjoy the Wisconsin Dells as well as tour the University of Wisconsin-Madison as part of my younger sister's college search. The weather was beautiful, and the lakes and rivers were stunning! Right now in Omaha, the baseball College World Series is in full swing, and I'm looking forward to going to a few games this weekend.
Back in Williamsburg, lots of Tribe gymnasts are working hard in the gym and in their summer school classes and internships, as well as having some fun in their free time! Sophie and Taylor went to see stand-up comedian John Mulaney in Norfolk last weekend and had a great time! Sophie also got to see one of her favorite bands, The Head and the Heart, in concert in Charlotte. Aaliyah celebrated her 20
th birthday on Monday by going indoor skydiving with her family, which looked like thrilling (and slightly terrifying) experience! Several Tribe members are abroad right now as well. Gaby and Maddy are finishing up their study abroad program in Italy, enjoying beautiful scenery, delicious food, and the chance to see Justin Bieber in concert in Europe! Anna just started her study abroad trip to Greece, and I'm in awe of the beautiful Greek architecture she's seen already. Of course, everyone has been working hard to upgrade and perfect their skills, as well as improve their strength and endurance in preparation for a wonderful 2018 season! I can't wait to see what we will accomplish this coming year.

Summer is flying by and Tribe gym is working hard both in the gym and out! Gaby and Maddy went to Cinque Terre for a day and embarked on a long hike and then a relaxing day at the beach. Monica just celebrated her birthday in the burg with a bunch of her friends. In addition, a bunch of the girls are tackling summer courses to get ahead, GO TRIBE!Â
Â
I've been continuing to box to keep up my strength and of course continuing practice at the gym. So far I've been focusing on basics and cleaning up my skills. On my little free time, I've been interning with a Marketing Specialist in order to build small businesses' social media platforms, and babysitting as much as possible. I already miss all my amazing teammates and am anxious to get back to them! I've been trying to sneak in a trip to Virginia before my trip to Australia. I can't wait to see all the amazing progress our team has made.Â

Hey Tribe Fans!
Â

Summer is already passing by so quickly! I've been back in the burg for almost four weeks now, and it feels like I just got back. I truly enjoy being in the burg this summer, especially with so many other teammates around. It's been great training together and pushing each other to get those upgrades in the gym, so we can rock next season. Our rising junior
Aaliyah Kerr has been working on an Arabian double front for floor, which is incredibly exciting.
Katie Webber has been working a 2½ on floor, and I've been working on a new two salto floor pass as well, so lots of exciting new skills to look forward to this season. Other than gymnastics, everyone has been working hard for her respective class or internship, while also taking time to enjoy the beautiful Williamsburg weather.
Â
I also love hearing about the wonderful adventure that the rest of Tribe Gymnastics are experiencing. Gaby and Maddy are undeniably having an amazing time in Italy. If only I could join them on their incredible trip. I know everyone else is enjoying their start of summer accolades.
Â
Now that summer has started, it's time for us to start welcoming the new Tribe Gymnastics members and help them prepare for college life. I'm very excited to see them all in August and officially start my last season with the Tribe!
