The William and Mary women's cross country team sent 11 of its members down to Lee Hall Manion State Park on Saturday morning, coming away with the win at the CNU Cross Country Invitational for the second year in a row. The Tribe scored 21 points in the Division I section, ahead of VCU (39), Norfolk State (79), and an incomplete team from Hampton. VCU's Emily Dyke won the race in 22:29.5.

Leanna Eisenman (Front Royal, Va.) had the best finish of her career so far, crossing the line second overall in 22:31.6 to lead the Tribe. Classmate
Becca Eudailey (Quinton, Va.) was the bronze-medalist in 22:45.6, and junior
Erica Amatori (Cary, N.C.) was fourth overall in 23:15.1 in her season debut. Captain
Heather Clagett (Norfolk, Va.) rounded out the top five in 23:17.9, and redshirt-freshman
Molly Applegate (Toms River, N.J.) finished the scoring in 24:09.8 for seventh overall. Senior
Kelly Rogers (McLean, Va.) was sixth for the Green and Gold, running 24:19.8 for 11th overall, and junior
Meghan Mulroy (Midlothian, Va.) finished the scoring team in 24:48.8 for 13th place.
William and Mary has next weekend off, before traveling to Boston to try and defend its CAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1.
