Blake-Hedges and Scott Named Ewell Award Recipients

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - William and Mary women's soccer seniors Jackie Blake-Hedges and Carson Scott have been honored as 2013 Ewell Award recipients.  The  Ewell Award, which is named in honor of former William and Mary President Benjamin Stoddert Ewell, recognizes the students at William and Mary who best embody a liberal arts education through their activities and academic studies.

Up to 40 recipients are selected for the Ewell Award each year. Recipients are selected on the basis of their outstanding participation and leadership on campus and/or community activities, and on the basis of their service and contribution to the school or community.
