Hanover, N.H. - The William and Mary women's tennis team continued its strong fall performance at the ITA East Regional on Oct. 22. The Tribe's top doubles team of senior Megan Moulton-Levy and sophomore Katarina Zoricic earned a spot in the quarterfinals of the main doubles draw, while Zoricic advanced to the round of 16 in the main singles draw at the event.

Moulton-Levy and Zoricic, the tournament's top seed, improved to 11-1 overall on the year with a victory in the round of 16 of the main doubles draw. The Tribe tandem, ranked No. 22 nationally, defeated the Richmond duo of Robin Carter and Beatrice Grasu, 8-1, to earn a spot in the quarterfinals. Moulton-Levy and Zoricic will meet the No. 6-seeded Harvard pair of Preethi Mukunda and Laura Peterzan at noon on Monday. The semifinal round of the main doubles draw is slated to be completed on Oct. 23 as well.

Zoricic, the No. 3 seed in the tournament, won a pair of matches to earn a spot in round of 16. The Etobicoke, Ontario native defeated Beatrice Grasu of Richmond, 6-1, 6-1, in the second round, before cruising past Kasia Preneta of Cornell, 6-1, 6-0, in the third round of the main singles draw. The victories pushed Zoricic's season mark to 6-3. The No. 61 ranked player nationally will meet the No. 14 seed Janet Kim of Yale in the fourth round at 10 a.m. The quarterfinals will be completed on Monday as well.

Sophomore Klaudyna Kasztelaniec was the lone Tribe player to fall on the day. Kasztelaniec won her second-round match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4, over Jesse Rhee of Yale. She saw her nine-match winning streak come to a close, falling, 6-1, 6-1, to the No. 11 seed Yulia Rivelis of Penn in the third round. Rivelis is also ranked 113th nationally. With the split, Kasztelaniec is 10-3 on the season.
