WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Director of golf Jay Albaugh announced the 2018-19 men's golf schedule on Friday afternoon. The slate is highlighted by nine regular season tournaments including hosting the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate in April.
 
The Tribe will appear in five tournaments during the fall season, all of which will be away from Williamsburg. In all, the Tribe will travel 3,744 miles round trip during the first half of the season.
 
W&M opens the schedule at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational for the second straight season. The tournament runs Sept. 10-11 at the Guyan Country Club.  The Green and Gold's other September tournament is the River Run Collegiate, which is hosted by Davidson on Sept. 24-25.
 
The following week, the men's golf team treks to Ohio to compete in the Firestone Intercollegiate for the second straight season. The tournament, which is hosted by Akron runs Oct. 1-2. W&M stays on the East Coast for its final two fall tournaments, starting with the Georgetown Intercollegiate at the Members Club at Four Streams on Oct. 15-16.  The Tribe wraps up its fall as it travels to the Kiawah Classic in South Carolina. The three-day event is slated for Nov. 4-6.
 
For the third straight season, W&M kicks off its spring season by hosting The Invitational at Savannah Harbor on Feb. 16-17 in Savannah, Ga. The Tribe has won the event the previous two seasons.
 
W&M continues its spring by traveling back to the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational. Hosted by South Carolina Aiken the tournament played at the Palmetto Golf Club March 11-12. The Tribe's final tournament of the season will come April 13-14 when it travels to the Rutherford Intercollegiate hosted by Penn State.
 
For the first time since the 2005 season, W&M's home spring tournament will have a new home course as it returns to the Golden Horseshoe for the three-day event. The Golden Horseshoe has hosted the Tribe's spring tournament previously 2001, 2002, and 2005. The event runs from March 25-27.
 
The 2019 CAA Championship will be played at the Pinehurst Resort this year. The event is scheduled for April 19-21.
