The Goat
This weekend's tournament will mark the third edition of The Goat, as the Tribe has competed in both previous events. W&M placed third in the inaugural tournament in 2024 and finished fifth last year. Dingledine was the Tribe's top finisher at the event last season and placed fourth with a one-over 214.

The Goat honors a Navy veteran each year, with this year's honoree being the retired admiral and former Navy golf team captain Bill Moran.

Strong Start
W&M opened its season last weekend with a third-place finish at the Bryan National Collegiate hosted by UNCG. The impressive performance marked the second consecutive season in which W&M placed third at the season-opening tournament. The Tribe's 4-under 860 tied for the program's 12th-best score to par in a 54-hole event. Freshman Whitty Richardson was outstanding in his collegiate debut and tied for seventh with a 3-under 213 (69-71-73). The Atlanta, Ga., native carded four birdies during each of his first two rounds.
