- W&M and Hampton meet for the 31st time in the last 31 seasons with the Tribe holding an 20-10 advantage. The Tribe has won nine of the last 11 meetings and five of the six since the Pirates joined the CAA prior to the 2022-23 season.
- The Tribe won its 15th game at UNCW. It marks the 31st time in the 121-year history of the program that it has won 15 or more games in a season. Head coach
Brian Earl is just the second W&M coach to win at least 15 games in his first two seasons, joining George Balanis in 1974-75 (16) and 1975-76 (15).
- In its win over UNCW on Thursday, the Tribe control the glass, outrebounding the Seahawks, 37-28. W&M pulled down 13 offensive rebounds and converted that into a season-high 21 second-chance points. UNCW entered game leading CAA and ranked No. 19 nationally in rebounding margin (+8.2). W&M is 9-0 this season when it outrebounds its opponent.
- For the third time in the last four games, W&M connected on double-digit 3-pointers with 11 in the win at UNCW. Over the last four contests, the Green and Gold is shooting 40.4% (44-of-109) from 3 and averaging 11 triples per game. In CAA play, W&M ranks third in the league at 9.4 3's per game.
- After his worst scoring game of the season on Jan. 22 vs. UNCW, junior
Reese Miller has been on a tear over the last four games, averaging 16 points per game. In the win at UNCW, Miller scored his Tribe career-high of 23 points. He has tallied double figures on 13 occasions off the bench this season.
- The Tribe tied the program record with 34 made free throws vs. Campbell on Jan. 31. The total is also the most in the CAA this season. The Tribe leads the CAA and ranks 88th nationally in free throw % (74.8). The Green and Gold is also 60th nationally in free throws made (17.5) and 89th (39.2) in free throw rate.
- W&M has jumped 103 spots from the preseason KenPom ratings, as of Feb. 6, to No. 128. The improvement is the ninth largest in the country, and the Tribe earned its highest rating since 2016. W&M is also currently No. 113 in the NCAA NET Rankings, as of Feb. 6, which is the third best in the CAA. The Tribe was as high as No. 50, which was its highest standing since the tool was introduced in 2018-19.

Brian Earl. W&M is averaging 18.5 assists per game this season, which leads the CAA and ranks 11th in the country. W&M is also 11th nationally in assist rate, assisting on 64.5% of its field goals. The Tribe has dished out 20 or more assists on nine occasions and is 8-1 in those games.
- With its pace, W&M ranks 10th nationally in fastbreak points per game at 17.5. The Tribe is 11-3 over the last two seasons under head coach
Brian Earl when scoring 20 or more fast break points in a game. In three of the last four seasons, Earl-coached team have ranked among the top 20 nationally in fast break points. W&M was 16th (14.4) last season in the category, while Cornell ranked second in 2022-23 (15.9).
- The Tribe possesses a balanced attack offensively with eight players averaging seven points per game, including four in double figures. In total, 12 of the Tribe's 13 players that have seen action in 2025-26 have scored in double figures at least once and nine different players have led the team in a game.
- W&M is once again among the fastest-paced teams in the country. According to KenPom.com (as of Feb. 6), the Tribe leads the country in fastest average length of possession on offense (13.6 seconds) and ranks seventh in adjusted tempo (73.0). Last season, the Tribe ranked third in fastest average length of possession (14.9) and 18th in adjusted tempo (71.5). In each of the last five seasons,

- Bench scoring has been a staple for
Brian Earl's teams. This season, the Tribe is averaging 32.7 points per game from its reserves, which leads the CAA and ranks 23rd in the country, as of Feb. 6. W&M's leading scorer has come off the bench in eight of its 15 wins this season. Last year, the Tribe ranked eighth nationally in bench scoring (31.9) after Earl's final Cornell team led the country in 2023-24 (36.0).
- 2025 W&M alums
Gabe Dorsey (Slovakia),
Caleb Dorsey (Slovakia), and
Matteus Case (Portugal) signed professional contracts in Europe. In total, 10 former Tribe standouts are playing professionally overseas, including Miguel Ayesa (Spain), David Cohn (Germany), Nathan Knight (South Korea), Anders Nelson (Romania), Terry Tarpey (France), Marcus Thornton (Romania), and Andy Van Vliet (Germany). Daniel Dixon '17, who won an NBA title as an assistant with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2025, was named the head coach of the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunder's NBA G-League affiliate, in August. Alums Chris Darnell '09 (Sacramento Kings) and Sean Sheldon (Utah Jazz) are also currently NBA assistant coaches.
