WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's basketball earned academic honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) recently. As a team, the Tribe received the Team Academic Excellence Award, while six student-athletes earned a place on the Honors Court.
Cade Haskins (Business Analytics),
Colin Lamine Ndaw (International Relations),
Ethan Connery (Finance),
Jo'el Emanuel (Business Analytics),
Kilian Brockhoff (International Relations), and
Miles Hicks (Finance) earned a place on the NABC Honors Courts thanks to their performance in the classroom. The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. It marked program's second straight Team Academic Excellence Award and the fifth overall. W&M posted a 3.19 team GPA at conclusion of the 2025-26 academic year.
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
Over 2,300 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court and over 400 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2025-26. W&M was one of 111 Division I programs to earn the honor and one of three CAA programs, along with Elon and Hofstra.
