WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary swimming is set to compete in the CAA Championships this week. The four-day meet will take place at the Hampton Aquaplex and go from Wednesday to Saturday.
Swimming events begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday with relay finals. Beginning on Thursday, prelims will start at 9:30 a.m. followed by finals at 5:30 p.m. each day.

LAST TIME OUT
The Tribe had four event victories at the Cavalier Invitational on Feb. 5-7, including a sweep of the 1650 free from Lauren Tucker and Tyler Barritt. Tucker won the women's race with a time of 16:41.62, setting a personal best and moving her up to fourth in program history. On the men's side, Barritt posted a time of 15:40.67, good for No. 9 all-time.
Riley Mills put together a strong showing, setting personal bests in the 50 free (23.68), 100 free (51.48), and 100 fly (55.27), along with a victory in the 200 free relay (1:33.20).
STARTING OFF
- Ahead of the CAA Championships, Aiden Bond holds the fastest conference time in the 50 free (19.73) and 100 free (43.55) this season.
- Julie Addison is pacing the league in the 50 back at 24.82, followed by Sarah Dunham at 25.33. Addison also holds the fastest time in the 100 back (53.34).
- Lindsay Juhlin is leading the CAA in all three breast events (50, 100, 200).
- Caroline Burgeson is second in the CAA in the 50 free at 22.69, separated by just five-one hundredths of a second from the top spot.
- W&M swept the CAA weekly awards for the week of Jan. 13, with Aiden Bond and Lauren Tucker being recognized as the CAA Men's and Women's Swimmer of the Week, respectively.
- Tucker owns the league's fastest time in 1650 free at 10:00.02 set at the Cavalier Invite. She will vie for the conference title as she holds a five-second lead over the second-place competitor.
- So far this season, William & Mary has broken two school records, 12 dual meet records, and eight Rec Center pool records.
- W&M will look to improve upon its finish at the 2025 CAA Championships in which the Green & Gold had eight conference championship-winning events and 17 podium finishes while breaking five school records.
- The Tribe is vying for its first CAA women's championship since 2022 and its first men's title since 2020.

MEET INFORMATION
The top three finishers in each event will be medalists, while the the winner will be named individual conference champion. Team scoring is based on a points system — the top-24 finishers will score for the women and top-16 for the men. For relay events, points are doubled.
