SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team totaled its best score of the season but fell in a dual meet at Sacramento State, 194.550-192.400, on Sunday afternoon.
In addition to recording its best overall team score this season, the Tribe also posted season highs on vault (48.200) and floor (48.675).
Hannah Burke highlighted the Tribe's individual performers, as she tied for first on floor by equaling a season high (9.825) and placed third on vault with a season-best 9.725.
Catherine Bare (9.700) and
Ashley Ruedy (9.800) also came up big by placing second and third, respectively, on bars and floor. Bare also narrowly missed out on a top-three finish on vault with a career-high 9.700, while Kathryn Peebles placed fourth on bars with a career-best 9.625.
Sophia Summers was the Tribe's top scorer on beam with a 9.725.
