DAVIS, Calif. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team was edged at UC Davis, 191.225-191.000 on Friday evening.
Catherine Bare highlighted the Tribe's individual performances by winning the bars title with a season-high 9.775, while she tied for third on vault (9.675). Her vault score was her best this season in the event and equaled a career high.
Kate Peebles and
Sophia Summers also recorded top-three finishes, as Peebles tied for third on bars with a career-best 9.675, while Summers placed third on floor with a career-high 9.800.
Ruedy was W&M's top performer on beam and tied for fourth with a 9.750.
A trio of Tribe standouts also tied for fourth on floor with impressive efforts, as Ruedy,
Michelle Ngo and
Hannah Burke all posted a 9.775.
As a team, the Tribe registered a season-high on floor (48.500) and equaled a season best on vault (47.850).
