Women’s Golf Prepares for Evie Odom Invitational

Tribe set to compete in loaded 14-team field in Virginia Beach

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The William & Mary Women's Golf team will return to action this weekend for the three-day, three round Evie Odom Invvitational at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach. 

Play will begin at the event hosted by Old Dominion with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. on Friday and the teams will compete in one round each day. Live scoring is available on SCOREBOARD.

THE COURSE
Princess Anne Country Club is a 5,800-yard track located right near the coastline. 

TRIBE OUTLOOK
W&M women's golf has recorded a pair of runner-up finishes to begin the 2026-27 campaign under the direction of second year Head Coach Jonathan Howard. The squad claimed second place at the Tribe Invitational and the Elon Invitational. 

At the Elon Invitational at Alamance Country Club, freshman Abigail Avalone shined tying for the individual title. The Bethesda, Md., native carded a 3-under, 210 (71-71-68), marking the third best 54-hole score to par in program history. Avalone went onto win Co-CAA Women's Golfer of the Week honors on Sept. 16. 

In addition to Avalone, Srihitha Madava, Lilly Reed Black and Jennifer Osborne have all placed inside the top-25 in both events this season.
