W&M-Campbell All-Time Series
Saturday's game will mark the fifth meeting between W&M and Campbell, as the Tribe owns a 3-1 record versus the Camels. Both of the last two meetings have required extra time, as W&M won, 14-13 in 2OT in Williamsburg in 2023, while CU defeated the Tribe, 14-13, in Buies Creek last season.

Last Meeting vs. Campbell
W&M concluded its 2024 season with a 14-13 overtime loss at Campbell. Ally Heath scored the game-winner off an assist from McKenna Duncan 52 seconds into the extra session. The contest featured nine ties and four lead changes, as neither team led by more than three goals at any point. In addition to totaling five goals, Paige Gilbert recorded a career-high seven draw controls and a ground ball. Maresa Moyer and Sophia Chiodo Ortiz added two goals apiece, while Ainsley Huizenga posted six draw controls and an assist. Moyer also tallied four draw controls to go with her pair of scores. The Tribe owned a 19-11 advantage on the draw circle, but Campbell had 14 more ground balls (20-6) and committed four fewer turnovers (14-18).

Last Time Out
W&M concluded its non-conference slate with a narrow 14-13 setback at ECU on Tuesday evening. W&M rallied back from a five-goal deficit in the second half and took a 12-11 lead with 10:11 remaining following an impressive 6-0 run that was punctuated with back-to-back goals by Margaret Mooney. Although ECU briefly reclaimed the lead with consecutive goals by Erin Gulden, the Tribe knotted the score at 13-13 on an equalizer by Finley Hoffman off an assist by Ainsley Huizenga with 2:50 remaining. However, Rachel Chessock's goal with 2:12 on the clock proved to be the game-winner, as W&M won the ensuing draw but Gilbert's attempt on goal was high and the Tribe then committed a turnover.

Century Club
Senior Paige Gilbert continued her climb in the Tribe's record book with a pair of goals in the recent contest at Stony Brook, as she eclipsed the 100-point mark. The Doylestown, Pa., native currently has 112 points (82g, 26a), which ranks 29th in program history.

Record Watch
Kate Draddy currently ranks fifth all-time at W&M in draw controls (129) and needs just six more to pass Molly Wannen for fourth in the Tribe's all-time record book. Paige Gilbert ranks sixth at W&M with 125 draw controls, while Ainsley Huizenga (122) ranks seventh.

Hat Tricks
Paige Gilbert leads the Tribe with seven hat tricks this season and has totaled three in the last four games. Additionally, Anna Dawson has scored at least three goals six times this spring.

Overtime Success
The Tribe has won four of its last six OT games dating back to 2019.

One for the Record Books
Ainsley Huizenga and Paige Gilbert etched their names into W&M's record book during the win against VCU earlier this season, as both standouts posted a pair of the best performances in program history. Huizenga equaled a single-game school record with six assists, while Gilbert's career-best nine draw controls ranks tied for fifth in school history. Additionally, Anna Dawson scored a career-high six goals, which ranks just outside W&M's top-10 list.

CAA Player of the Week Honors
A trio of Tribe standouts have earned CAA weekly honors this season, as Kate Draddy (offensive player of the week, 2/10), Marin Wilhelm (defensive player of the week, 2/10) and Alexis Savage (rookie of the week, 3/10) have all garnered the distinction.

Team Captains
W&M is led by a quartet of team captains this season - Paige Gilbert, Kate Draddy, Claire Doto and Sophia Chiodo Ortiz - as head coach Kelyn Freedman announced the selections at the conclusion of the fall.

Academic Excellence
During the fall, W&M Athletics was once again recognized for its academic excellence as it recorded the highest Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) among all Division I public institutions. Lax helped lead the way and earned a 100% GSR for the seventh straight season.
