W&M-Delaware All-Time Series
Delaware owns a 15-12 edge in the all-time series and has won the last nine of the last 10 meetings.

Last Meeting vs. Delaware
W&M fell to Delaware, 19-9, in its CAA home opener at Martin Family Stadium last season. The Tribe trailed by just three, 10-7, early in the fourth quarter, but UD closed the game with a 9-2 run to pull away for the conference victory. Maresa Moyer led W&M with three goals – all of which came in the first half – and three draw controls, while Finley Hoffman (1g, 1a) and Lauren Rothstein (1g, 1a) added two points apiece. Kate Draddy also found the back of the cage once and posted a team-high six draw controls, while Jaylin Locke led W&M defensively with two caused turnovers and three ground balls.

Last Time Out
W&M was edged by Elon, 12-11, at Martin Family Stadium last Sunday. Although W&M trailed by three during the waning minutes of the contest, it mounted an impressive comeback bid with goals by Ainsley Huizenga (3:11) and Finley Hoffman (2:10) and had a chance to even the score in the closing seconds. After a defensive stand gave the Tribe possession with less than 30 seconds remaining, it quickly advanced the ball into its attacking end before utilizing a timeout with 14.4 remaining. However, W&M was unable to get a shot off as the final horn sounded.

Century Club
Senior Paige Gilbert continued her climb in the Tribe's record book with a pair of goals in the recent contest at Stony Brook, as she eclipsed the 100-point mark. The Doylestown, Pa., native currently has 107 points (81g, 26a), which ranks tied for 30th in program history.

Record Watch
Kate Draddy currently ranks fifth all-time at W&M in draw controls (124) and needs just 11 more to pass Molly Wannen for fourth in the Tribe's all-time record book. Ainsley Huizenga ranks seventh at W&M with 121 draw controls, while Paige Gilbert (117) ranks eighth.

Overtime Success
The Tribe has won four of its last six OT games dating back to 2019.

One for the Record Books
Ainsley Huizenga and Paige Gilbert etched their names into W&M's record book during the win against VCU earlier this season, as both standouts posted a pair of the best performances in program history. Huizenga equaled a single-game school record with six assists, while Gilbert's career-best nine draw controls ranks tied for fifth in school history. Additionally, Anna Dawson scored a career-high six goals, which ranks just outside W&M's top-10 list.

CAA Player of the Week Honors
A trio of Tribe standouts have earned CAA weekly honors this season, as Kate Draddy (offensive player of the week, 2/10), Marin Wilhelm (defensive player of the week, 2/10) and Alexis Savage (rookie of the week, 3/10) have all garnered the distinction.

Team Captains
W&M is led by a quartet of team captains this season - Paige Gilbert, Kate Draddy, Claire Doto and Sophia Chiodo Ortiz - as head coach Kelyn Freedman announced the selections at the conclusion of the fall.

Academic Excellence
During the fall, W&M Athletics was once again recognized for its academic excellence as it recorded the highest Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) among all Division I public institutions. Lax helped lead the way and earned a 100% GSR for the seventh straight season.

Up Next
Following the contest at Delaware, W&M will play its final non-conference game of the season when it travels to East Carolina on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
