WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team concluded its home slate by posting its second-best score this season but fell to Penn, 195.500-193.025, at Kaplan Arena on Saturday afternoon.
In addition to the impressive team total, the Tribe recorded one of the program's best beam scores in school history, as it earned a season-high 48.700, which ties for 10th all-time at W&M.
Highlighting the Tribe's individual performances were
Madeline Frazier and
Hannah Burke, who placed third on beam and floor, respectively. Frazier equaled her season high in the event with a 9.825, while Burke also matched her best score of the 2025 campaign on the apparatus with a 9.775. Burke also registered W&M's top score on vault (9.725).
Melanie Faulkner narrowly missed out on a top-three finish on beam with a career-high 9.800, while
Catherine Bare tied for fourth on bars by equaling her season high in the event (9.750).
Melissa Gao also came up big as a member of the beam lineup, as she tallied a career-best 9.775 en route to helping the squad break into the program's top-10 list.

W&M will return to action when it concludes its regular season slate at a quad meet hosted by Bridgeport (with Brown and Southern Connecticut State) next Sunday at 2 p.m.
