WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The William & Mary track and field teams will participate in the CAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday. The meet will take place over two days at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. The Tribe has won 16 combined men's and women's CAA championships and are looking for their first title since 2013.

LAST TIME OUT
The Tribe sent a small contingent to the Navy Select in Annapolis, Md. last weekend. Melissa Cunningham had the top performance of the day, posting the second-fastest time ever in the women's 60m with a time of 7.67. In the women's 800m, Perry Irons put together a top-10 performance with a time of 2:14.33. She finished third in the event.

WHO TO WATCH
W&M has several athletes vying for individual championships and podium finishes.

• On the men's side, Jonathan Kumer owns the best time in the CAA in the 800m dash (1:49.14).
• Austin Rice ranks second in the 400m dash (47.59).
• Caleb Wilcox ranks second in the mile (4:07.50).
• The Tribe men's distance medley relay team (Caleb Wilcox, David Seekford, Collin Walsh, and Henry Anderson) has the number-two time at 10:02.19.
• Brian Walsh has a top-three performance in the heptathlon.
• For the Tribe women, Elizabeth Strobach is the conference leader in the pole vault at 12'10.25" (3.92m).
• Her teammate Olesya Sitkowski is in second pace at 12'9.5" (3.90m).
• Kyra Holland ranks second in the mile (4:42.59) and 3000m (9:26.69).
• Lauren Jones is third in the long jump (19'0.5", 5.80m).

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The meet schedule can be found here. Combined events will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Field events will start at noon with running trials beginning at 1:15pm. Finals will start at 10 a.m. on Thursday and continue all day.
