WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team will host West Chester for Senior Day at Kaplan Arena on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Following the meet, W&M will honor is senior class of
Catherine Bare,
Avery Bernier,
Caroline Blatchford,
Sophie Chandler,
Anne Marie Kuebler,
Sarah Kuper,
Katelyn Nels and
Sarah Wozniak.
Additionally, the competition will be W&M's Women's Empowerment Meet to encourage and inspire members of the community.
Admission to the meet is
FREE. William & Mary Athletics, in conjunction with the William & Mary Police Department, has implemented a clear bag policy that regulates the size and type of bag that may be carried into W&M Athletics facilities during the 2024-25 year, including Busch Field, Kaplan Arena, Martin Family Stadium, Plumeri Park, and Zable Stadium. A LOOK AT THE TRIBE
W&M enters Sunday's meet ranked sixth in the GEC with a 191.225 team average. The Tribe's best event has been bars where it ranks third in the conference (47.919), while it is fourth in the league on beam (48.263).
Individually,
Michelle Ngo ranks second in the conference in all-around (38.712) and fourth on beam (9.719), while
Sarah Wozniak is fifth on bars (9.725).
SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
West Chester currently ranks seventh in the GEC with a 190.888 scoring average. The Golden Rams' best events have been beam (48.154) and floor (48.438) where they rank fifth in the conference.
Individually, Emma Grace Kelly ranks 10th in the GEC on floor (9.762), while Sarah Eskew (9.625) and Tatum McGuinn (9.675) rank 11th on bars and beam, respectively.
