- W&M and ODU meet for the 53rd-straight season dating back to 1974. The Monarchs lead the all-time series at 72-24, but the Tribe has won eight of the last 14 contests, including an 84-79 win at home in 2023.
- Sunday marks the fourth annual Teddy Bear Toss. At halftime, fans will toss plush toys onto the court for a chance to win Tribe Athletics experiences, prizes from local businesses, or other prizes. The collected toys will be donated to those in need during the holiday season.
- Thanks to its four-game winning streak, the Tribe has jumped 94 spots in KenPom.com's rating, as of Nov. 29, to No. 137. The improvement is the fifth biggest in the country. W&M's four victories in a row marks the Tribe's best nonconference win streak since 2019-20. The last time the Tribe won five straight in nonconference play was in 2017-18.

- In each of the last three games, the Tribe has limited its opponents to less than 40% shooting. W&M is 4-1 this season and 9-1 under
Brian Earl when holding its opponent to less than 40% shooting. The Tribe leads the CAA in both field goal % defense (38.8) and 3-point % defense (26.4), which are also 49th and 25th in the country, respectively, as a Nov. 29.

Kyle Pulliam was limited to just two minutes due to injury. W&M still put six players in double figures in rolling to a 34-point win. At least four players have scored in double figures in six of W&M's first eight games, including two contests with six players. Nine players are averaging at least six points per game, and in total, 10 players have scored 10 or more points in a game this year and five different players have led them in scoring.
- W&M has been turning over opponents at a significant rate and converting those into points this season. The Tribe leads the CAA and ranks 29th nationally in forced turnovers per game (16.5), while averaging 20.7 points per game off turnovers.
- Bench scoring has been a staple for head coach
Brian Earl's teams. This season, the Tribe is scoring 45.6% (314-of-689) of its points off the bench. W&M is averaging 39.3 points per game from its reserves, which ranks 13th nationally, as of Nov. 29. Last season, the Tribe ranked eighth nationally in bench scoring (31.9) after Earl's final Cornell team led the country in 2023-24 (36.0).
- W&M is once again among the fastest-paced teams in the country. According to KenPom.com (as of Nov. 29), the Tribe leads the country in fastest average length of possession on offense (13.4 seconds) and ranks fifth in adjusted tempo (75.4). Last season, the Tribe ranked third in fastest average length of possession (14.9) and 18th in adjusted tempo (71.5). In each of the last five seasons,

- The Tribe is averaging 9.5 steals per game this season, which leads the CAA and ranks 41st nationally. Brockhoff ranks seventh in the CAA at 1.5 steals per game, while Vahlberg Fasasi is 11th (1.4) and Pulliam is 16th (1.3). In its first season under Earl in 2024-25, W&M finished with its most steals since 1981 and fourth most in program history.
- The Tribe has also been one of the best teams in the country in terms of sharing the basketball under Earl. W&M is averaging 19.5 assists per game this season, which leads the CAA and ranks 20th in the country. The Tribe is 11th nationally in assist rate, assisting on 66.2% of its made field goals. A season ago, W&M was 10th nationally in assist rate (62%) and 25th nationally at 16.5 assists per game.

- 2025 W&M alums
Gabe Dorsey (Slovakia),
Caleb Dorsey (Slovakia), and
Matteus Case (Portugal) signed professional contracts in Europe. In total, 10 former Tribe standouts are playing professionally overseas, including Miguel Ayesa (Spain), David Cohn (Germany), Nathan Knight (South Korea), Anders Nelson (Romania), Terry Tarpey (France), Marcus Thornton (Romania), and Andy Van Vliet (Germany).
- W&M alum Daniel Dixon '17 was named the head coach of the Oklahoma City Blue, the NBA G-League affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder in August. Dixon, who was an All-CAA First Team selection in 2017, won an NBA Championship as an assistant coach with the OKC Thunder last season. In 2024, he won an NBA G-League Championship as an assistant with the Blue.
