- W&M travels to St. John's for the first time since 2011 on Saturday. In the last meeting, the Tribe led 33-26 at the half, but the Red Storm scored 28 points off turnovers to rally back for a 74-59 win.

- Saturday will be the Tribe's first game against an Associated Press Top-25 opponent since 2023 (No. 18 Charleston on Jan. 16) and its first nonconference game since going to No. 16 Virginia on Dec. 22, 2020. W&M owns seven wins all-time vs. the AP Top 25 with the last one coming over No. 2 North Carolina in Williamsburg on Dec. 7, 1977. W&M has never beaten an AP Top 25 team on the road.

- The Tribe has a balanced attack with three players averaging in double figures and nine different players averaging at least six points per game. In total, the Tribe's rotation of 10 players averages 10 or more minutes per game. At least four players have scored in double figures in each of the Tribe's three games. In total, eight different players have scored 10 or more points in a game this season.

- Bench scoring has been a staple for head coach Brian Earl's teams. Through three games, the Tribe is scoring 48.7% (135-of-277) of its points off the bench. W&M is averaging 45 points per game off the bench, which ranks 16th nationally, as of Nov. 13. Last season, the Tribe ranked eighth nationally in bench scoring (31.9) after Earl's final Cornell team led the country in 2023-24 (36.0).

- In each of the Tribe's first three games, its leading scorer has come off the bench. Sophomore Ryan Jackson, Jr. (vs. Georgian Court) and graduate student Jhei-R Jones (at Norfolk State) totaled 15 points off the bench in the first two games, while junior Reese Miller scored a game-high 18 points at Richmond.

- W&M is once again among the fastest-paced teams in the country. W&M is sixth in adjusted tempo (76.0 possessions per 40 minutes) this season after ranking 18th (71.5) in 2024-25. In each of the last five seasons, Brian Earl-coached teams have ranked top 5 nationally in average possession length and top 25 in adjusted tempo.
