Jack Angelucci is in his third year with William & Mary Athletics, having begun his tenure in August 2023. He started his current role as Assistant Director of Athletics Advancement, Communications, in November 2025, after serving as Associate Director of Media Relations for more than two years.
He also serves as a play-by-play voice on the Tribe Sports Network from Van Wagner, primarily on the audio-only broadcasts of W&M women's basketball games.
In his role with the William & Mary Athletics Foundation, Angelucci serves as a strategic communications leader for the Athletics Advancement team. He oversees donor communications, digital platforms, and the Foundation’s communications strategy, while guiding storytelling, solicitations, and impact reporting that showcase the generosity and influence of the Tribe community. His work supports annual giving initiatives and integrated digital strategies that advance philanthropic engagement and fundraising priorities.
During the 2024–25 season, Angelucci oversaw communications efforts for Tribe women’s basketball’s historic postseason run, which culminated in the program’s first-ever CAA championship and William & Mary’s first NCAA Tournament appearance in either men’s or women’s basketball. In the days between the CAA title game and W&M’s NCAA Tournament opener, he coordinated more than 40 media requests from local and national outlets, including ESPN, USA Today, and the Associated Press.
He also oversaw a massive spike in Tribe WBB's social media engagement, measuring over 1.5 million interactions on Instagram during the postseason.
During his time in Williamsburg, Angelucci’s comprehensive media relations efforts have highlighted two All-CAA selections, three CAA All-Tournament Team honorees, and a CAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player on the hardwood. He also helped elevate the team’s visibility during a period in which Erin Dickerson Davis became the first head coach in program history to win 15-or-more games in each of their first three seasons.
Prior to joining the W&M staff, Angelucci spent the 2022-23 year as a student assistant at St. Bonaventure University. His duties included gameday operations, coordinating men’s basketball postgame press conferences, calling games on ESPN+ and being the women’s swimming media contact.
Â
Before his year with the Bonnies, Angelucci completed his undergraduate degree at Mercyhurst University while also serving as a student assistant. He was the main play-by-play voice for Laker athletics and a contact for women’s bowling, both golf programs and women’s ice hockey (secondary).Â
Â
From 2021 until 2023 he served as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Utica Blue Sox (PGCBL), handling all media requests, broadcasting games and overseeing the content creation staff.Â
Â
A native of New Hartford, N.Y., Angelucci earned his bachelors in communications from Mercyhurst in 2022, and a masters in sports journalism from St. Bonaventure in 2023. He was a member of the men’s golf team at both schools and holds the single-season record for rounds of par-or-better at Bonaventure. He currently resides in Williamsburg and is a high school basketball official in his free time.
