RICHMOND, Va. – After helping the William & Mary football team earn an exciting 30-27 overtime victory at Campbell, kicker
Keegan Shackford was honored as the CAA Special Teams Player of the Week.
The award marks the second consecutive week that a Tribe standout has garnered the distinction, as
Josh Miller was selected for the accolade last Monday.
Shackford made all three of his field goal attempts, highlighted by a game-tying 38-yard kick with just 0:01 remaining in regulation. The Ashburn, Va., native also connected on attempts from 41 and 47 yards during the first half.
Shackford has made at least one field goal in six straight games and is 8-for-12 this season. Additionally, he has made 32-of-33 PATs.
W&M (6-4, 5-2) will wrap up its conference slate when it plays at Hampton on Saturday at 1 p.m.
