UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team earned its best score of the season en route to a fifth-place finish at the Towson Invite on Friday evening.
George Washington claimed the team title with a 195.750 and was followed by Towson (195.400), Temple (194.700), New Hampshire (193.850) and W&M (192.850).
In addition to posting its best team score of the 2025 campaign, the Tribe also recorded season highs on vault (48.175), bars (48.150) and beam (48.425).
Michelle Ngo highlighted the Tribe's individual performances by placing fourth in all-around with a career-high 38.750 and tying for 10th on bars (9.700). She also tallied W&M's top score on floor (9.725), while she and
Melissa Gao tied for the team's best mark on beam (9.750).
Sarah Wozniak also came up big with a top-10 finish on bars and tied for seventh with a 9.725.
Caroline Blatchford and
Hannah Burke led the Tribe on vault with a pair of 9.700s.

W&M will return to action when it travels back to Towson for a quad meet with Bowling Green and Illinois State next Saturday.
