Swimming Returns to Action at Tribe Quad Meet

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The William & Mary swimming teams will return to action for the first time in 2025 as they gear up for the Tribe Quad Meet on Saturday at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va. The meet will feature 16 events and get underway at 10 a.m. with a dual match between the Tribe and Old Dominion. The W&M women will also compete against East Carolina and Central Connecticut State.

TRIBE NEWS AND NOTES
- This will be W&M's first action since Nov. 20-22 at the West Virginia Invitational. The Tribe had a successful showing, highlighted by a school record performance from Claire Neilly in the 400 IM (4:15.28). - There were 10 event winners and nearly 30 top-16 all-time performances.

- The women's team finished with the highest combined team score at the meet, totaling 1853 points. In the 400 medley relay, Julie Addison, Ellie Scherer, Lindsay Juhlin, and Caroline Bergeson teamed up for the fourth-fastest time ever (3:39.44).

- On the men's side, the 200 medley relay team of Logan McDonald, Brock Rempe, Alex Valliere, and Aiden Bond scored a top-five all-time performance with a time of 1:28.05.

- The meet marks the first of three straight weekends that Tribe swimming will be in action. Also on the docket this month are meets vs. Davidson (Jan. 18) and Georgetown (Jan. 25).
