RICHMOND, Va.— The Coastal Athletic Association announced on Tuesday afternoon that William & Mary's Jason Nwosu was named the conference's men's Field Athlete of the Week for the third time in 2023-24.
 
The sophomore from Franklinville, N.J. has been named the CAA Field Athlete of the Week twice already this outdoor season while being tabbed for the award once during indoor season.
 
Nwosu posted a victory this weekend in the shot put at the Colonial Relays, hosted by the Tribe, with a mark of 17.67m, good for the best number in the conference this season and third in all-time performers for W&M in the event. He also earned fourth in the hammer throw on Thursday with a toss of 54.9m, which is the second-best mark in the CAA this season.
 
W&M is back in action on Friday at the Virginia Grand Prix, hosted by UVA in Charlottesville.
