WILLIAMSBURG, Va.—The William & Mary men's golf team begins the postseason on Sunday at the CAA Men's Golf Championships at the Dataw Island Club in St. Helena Island, S.C. The 54-hole event will be played over three days, concluding on Tuesday.
The Tribe will start the opening round at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday paired with Towson and Monmouth.

Last Time Out
W&M finished tied for ninth in a solid field of 16 teams on Tuesday at the Mountaineer Invitational hosted by West Virginia University. The Tribe posted scores of 302-301-292 over the 54-hole tournament.
Charlie Bundy led the Green and Gold with a 2-over-par total, good for a T-12 finish. The sophomore was one of just 10 players to shoot par or better in Monday's opening round, posting a 72. He also finished the event strong shooting a 3-under 69 in the final round. Teammate
Logan Hunter finished the tournament in a tie for 18
th, highlighted by a 70 in round two.
Good Time to Get Hot
Bundy's performance at the Mountaineer Invitational earned him the final CAA Men's Golfer of the Week honors for the season. The Bethesda, Md. native navigated the par-4's at Pete Dye Golf Club in even-par, tied for 10
th best in the 91-player field. He also played the par-5's in 2-under. The honor is the second time that Bundy has been tabbed the conference's golfer of the week in his career.

Coach
Tim Pemberton's squad has been especially strong in the final round of tournaments this season, averaging 288 in their last five team events. Those five rounds include the team's lone under-par performance of the season, a 285 (3-under) at the Ross Collegiate Classic, and an even-par 284 in the final round of W&M's home event, the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate.
History at the CAA Championships
The Tribe has posted top four finishes in three of the last four CAA Championships, including a T-4 effort last season. The last time W&M posted a top-three finish at the conference's season-ending event was 2015 when they finished runner-up with a team score of 893. Overall W&M has competed at the CAA Championships since 1984, with the program's lone conference title coming in 1985. Trevor Binau led W&M in the two latest editions of the championship finishing T-10 and eighth, shooting even-par 216 each time. This year marks the fourth straight year the tournament has been held at the Dataw Island Club.
