GREENVILLE, N.C.—The William & Mary women's golf team finished off their regular season schedule at the Ironwood Invitational with a score of 934 (310-309-315).
 
The Tribe finished in 14^th place in the 54-hole event that was hosted by ECU on Monday and Tuesday at Ironwood Golf & Country Club in Greenville, N.C.
 
Mikah McDonnell and Mary Grace Dunigan paced the Tribe, finishing tied in T-28 with a 13-over total. 
 
McDonnell posted three consistent scores of 75-76-78 and posted an even-par 36 on the front nine in the first round. The graduate student also finished towards the top of the field in par-5 scoring, playing them to the tune of 2-under for the event.
 
Dunigan was solid on the par-3s at Ironwood, finishing in the top 20 in scoring on those holes with a 2-over total. The reigning CAA Women's Golfer of the Week, Dunigan started quick in Friday's opening round with birdies on three of her first four holes before posting her best round of the event with a 1-over 73.
 
Dunigan put up a pair of 78's in the final two rounds for her 229 total. She played the front nine on Tuesday, her last nine holes of the tournament, in even-par 36. 
 
Avery Thompson and Ava Svindland also tied representing the Tribe. The duo finished T-70 with a 240 total, 24-over-par. The second round was the best of the three for both Thompson and Svindland, posting scores of 78 and 77 respectively. Thompson opened the event with an 80 and then an 82 in the final round on Tuesday. Svindland posted an 82 in the opener Monday and 81 on Tuesday.
 
Simone Senk rounded out the lineup for W&M with a 248 total. After scores of 84-86 in the first two rounds, she knocked off eight strokes in Tuesday's final round for a 78.

The Tribe begins postseason play at the CAA Championships April 12-14 in Southport, N.C. at the St. James Planation's Reserve Club.
